The thing that bothers me the most about the Ozempic weight loss shot discussion is seeing fat folks say things like this. They think anyone who hasn’t ever been morbidly obese/obese has never experienced discomfort in their life. A major separation between humans and literal animals is that we have the ability to logically think, we don’t simply react to stimulus and immediately respond. If you feel hungry, but know you just ate- and you are completely incapable of denying yourself - you’re no better than an animal.

What you’re seeing with the fed or not discussion is vaguely right-wing talking heads getting uncomfortable with where conversation is heading. Calling everyone feds who go there is an easy way to keep the narrative comfortable so they can continue to make money on milquetoast.
