The takeaway from the outrage to Harrison Butker giving a Catholic speech at a Catholic university- is that no matter how much you stay in your lane, talk to your own group- they hate you. They hate your children. They don’t want you around at ALL. A large portion wants you dead. And by the way, it’s not for being a Christian.

Not being able to imagine doing anything except “working” and believing it’s the only “rewarding” activity is disturbing. The atomized cannot comprehend being involved with anything social other than a career. Women used to do all sorts of amazing volunteer work for communities.

The weirdest part of the entire men and women having opposite sex friends conversation is that it instantly reveals who truly thinks men and women are different and who buy into us being interchangeable blobs and that two sexes exist as a weird quirk, not for reproduction.

People having close friends that they hang out with of the opposite sex has made everything nonsensical and incredibly awkward- all because of completely natural feelings that are supposed to happen. And we’re supposed to pretend WE are freaks for feeling that way.

Something I wasn’t prepared for was the amount of women who openly brag about their husband having zero standards for them at all. It turns out all the years of watching women “we make each other better” posting was just a lie. Very odd stuff. There is an entire genre of online content of women bragging their husband doesn’t care they got fat.

Imagine being such a retard shallow bitch like you both. But I pity you, because it is sad that the fact some women are unconditionally loved by their husbands makes you mad.

When I was in high school at my private school I had a friend whose dad was a veteran. He would frequently go on tirades about helping our own country first, our own people, etc. At the time I was of course a silly teenage girl and didn’t get the outrage. I do now. He was right.

This is particularly bad in Christianity. Most Christians are convinced if you’re not doing at least one trip in an inner city foreign country - you can’t call yourself a “good” Christian. While White neighbors live paycheck to paycheck. Something is deeply wrong with that.

My mom ran a daycare out of our home until I was 22 or so since she was a stay at home mom for us as well. She’s been baffled that none of our children (ours and those of my cousins) cling to her. “Those babies LOVED me!” she says. Yes, because you functionally WERE their mother.

Even with my mom being a wonderful SAHM daycare provider, truly treating children as close as she could to her own - I awoke most days at 6 AM to the sound of children screaming for their mothers. Not great on my psyche, but definitely shaped how we are parenting our children.
