Raycast alternatives: Tinycast or Vicinae?

I want to move away from Raycast to a different launcher but keep my extensions, etc.
Now, I've recently seen Tinycast being mentioned a lot as a great, new alternative, but others have also mentioned Vicinae as a (better) alternative, as it's more established and has been around for longer. I would really appreciate if anyone who used/uses one of them or both could chime in and give their recommendation.
Thank you very much in advance.

A few ways to introduce the rules

This subreddit is one of the best ways to market an app as of now.

However I’ve noticed a few apps just wait a month and just post the exact same app. No new features or no new updates. Whereas some pass that have gotten a bunch of big updates need to wait 30 days (I do agree there should be a minimum time)

So here’s my proposed solution:
\- Minimum days before next post becomes 20 days, but there’s an additional requirement:
\- minimum of 5-6 new features (bug fixes don’t count, and ofc “adding a new colour” wouldn’t count. ) (the number is just an example)

Both of these should be enforced together, so an app can’t just be reposted again after 20 days and maybe only 1 or 2 features added.

Open to feedback as usual.

Are TNT macOS cracks from sites like Macbed, MacBB, or Macked safe, or do they risk infostealers?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a realistic technical assessment regarding the safety of macOS apps cracked by TNT (the group that frequently packages their apps with the "Open Gatekeeper Friendly" wrapper).

Specifically, I am evaluating releases hosted on distribution networks like **macbed.com**, **macked.app**, and the **macbb.org** forums. I understand the baseline mechanism of the TNT script relies on recursively stripping extended attributes (xattr -cr) to bypass macOS Gatekeeper, but I want to separate myth from reality:

1. Distribution Integrity: Are the releases hosted on Macbed, Macked, and MacBB historically untouched mirrors of the original TNT P2P releases? Or do any of these specific sites have a track record of repacking binaries to inject modern macOS infostealers (e.g., AMOS, Poseidon, or background proxy droppers)?
2. Group Reputation: If a release is a verified, untouched TNT file, is the payload inherently clean software with modified validation checks? Or has the group itself ever been caught slipping telemetry or backdoors into their public releases?
3. Vetting & Static Analysis: For those of you who audit these files before executing them, what is your workflow? Are you checking for persistence strings like suspicious LaunchAgents, unpacking the DMG to look for hidden binaries, or relies strictly on outbound firewall monitors (like LuLu or Little Snitch)?

I'd love to hear from Mac power users, security researchers, or anyone who regularly reverse-engineers or monitors traffic from these platforms. Thanks in advance!
