Are menu bar apps no longer possible?

I've been using Bartender for a long time, and I just updated my MBA to 27, and even the beta is totally broken. I tried a couple of other menu bar apps that have betas, and none of them work either. I've been reading some posts saying that menu bar apps won't work any more, but apparently if developers are releasing betas then there must be some way for them to do what they did in the past.

I kind of need this, because I create screencasts for a couple of Mac apps, and it's a pain to have to manually hide menu bar icons for the apps I use regularly whenever I want to record.

Is there a Mac app that visualizes trackpad touches on screen in real time?

I’m looking for an app that shows my trackpad touches visually on screen while I’m using it.

For example, small circles or dots that represent where each finger is touching the trackpad and move in real time as I swipe, tap, pinch, or use gestures on the Mac screen.
Basically, a live visualization of multi-touch input from the MacBook trackpad.
Does anything like this exist for macOS?

AlDente issues with Mac M1

Lately, I noticed AlDente can't stop my macbook as it used to do. I checked their report and under issues some people have reported the same problem. Has anyone know a workaround or an alternative? I am running Sequoia and refuse to install Tahoe.

What do you want in the apps website?

I'm a macos app developer and recently I've been updating my apps website, but I was wondering what you guys need on the website of the app and what you've seen that makes a difference in whether you purchase the app or not.

Like the bare minimum is:

* Installation method
* Download link
* Pricing
* The app's core feature
* Screenshots

But what about things like:

* Interactive version of the app on the website
* Screen recordings / demo video
* Testimonials
* FAQ
* How many people have bought the app / downloads / github stars
* Support for Apple pay and a wide variety of payment methods (if distributed outside of mac app store)
