iCloud Custom Email - Opinions?

I've used Google Workspace since it as Google Apps in 2004, but I'd like to use the Apple Mail app and it is notoriously awful with Gmail. Not its fault, as Gmail is not true IMAP and I understand why Apple Mail has issues. Push notifications are not possible with Gmail, and waiting 15 minutes for updates is untenable for my use case.

If I switch from Google Workspace to Apple Custom Domain Email, how disappointed am I going to be? I can deal with the little things, like it goes to the same inbox as my iCloud.com email, but that's not a problem as I never use it and haven't gotten two emails there in the past two years. But how much worse is spam filtering if I'm using iCloud Custom Email. I know it won't be a good at filtering as Gmail, but is it at least tolerable? Thanks!

Workspace/Project Manager Suggestions

Hello! I recently started developing my own personal projects and have run into a frustrating issue: constantly reopening windows, navigating to folders in terminals, and repeating the same setup steps every time I switch between projects. I've been managing everything in a ProjectReadMe file, but I've quickly outgrown that approach. Does anyone have suggestions for a better solution? I know there are a few apps out there, but I'd love to hear what you're actually using and recommend.

Whispr Flow vs. Superwhisper - My thoughts after using both:

Pros of Whispr Flow over Superwhisper:

1. Whispr Flow is fast - really fast. That's its best feature. No matter what I try with Superwhisper, I can't get it to be as fast as Whispr Flow. (a wild estimate: .3 seconds for Whispr Flow vs 1 second for Superwhisper)
2. Onboarding is easy and well done. There is learning curve to Superwhisper and lot of options.
3. The scratchpad feature is nice to have. But I can use other apps for that (Antinote and Drafts are good options).

Pros of Superwhisper over Whispr Flow:

1. I get better more precise from Superwhisper. For example, with certain models loaded, I can ask Superwhisper to give me a new paragraph and it does.
2. Superwhisper has a lifetime subscription for $250, or 40% off with a student discount. Whispr Flow's annual fees are about $144/year, so it is more expensive than Superwhisper after 2 years. Whispr Flow also has a 50% student discount and a long free trial for students, so that's nice. It doesn't hurt to give it a try.
3. Superwhisper has the option for local-only processing for privacy.
4. A lot more options on how to use AI to process the text.

For my needs:

Where Superwhisper wins: The output is better and it's cheaper for long term use.

Where Whispr Flow wins: It's faster.

I like both products. They are both excellent. For me, I'm sticking with Superwhisper. I'll trade the very small difference in processing speed (.3 seconds vs 1 second) in order to get better output and better pricing for long term use.

I think people will be happy with either choice.

An apps to save Google AI Mode Chats Seamlessly Without Ads or Formatting Issues?

Normally, I use Google (AI Mode) to ask questions.

The issue I have is not being able to easily and seamlessly save the chat for my records.

1. Copying the chat is impossible because a bunch of ads are also selected (unavoidable).
2. Using the Obsidian Web Clipper, those ads are also captured, and the chat’s formatting is lost, making it messy and unreadable.

Is there any app or method that can save all these chats seamlessly?

Help me find a free alternative mac app for Language Tools!

My LT subscription is coming up for renewal on June 7. I would like to find a free or affordable one-time-payment replacement for it. I have used Grammarly in the past and prefer Language Tools, but it's $120 USD every two years.

Thank you for your time and your help!
