Our teams in Khan Younis are still working in a house of the "Shurrab" family targeted by the occupation in the vicinity of the Islamic University and are recovering a number of martyrs and injured.

There are still missing people under the rubble, and it is difficult to reach them.

The bodies of 4 martyrs and injured were recovered from a house belonging to the "Al-Khor" family targeted by the Israeli occupation in the vicinity of Abdullah Azzam Mosque in Al-Sabra area, south of Gaza City. A large number of people are still missing under the rubble.

تصريح صحفي:

▪️نعلن نفاذ كميات الوقود الخاصة بتشغيل مركباتنا (الإطفاء والإنقاذ والإسعاف) في محافظات جنوب قطاع غزة، ما أدى إلى توقف 8 مركبات عن الحركة من أصل 12 مركبة.

▪️نحذر من أن تدخلاتنا الإنسانية والاستجابة لنداءات المواطنين في هذه المحافظات ستكون محدودة وستشارك فيها فقط 4 مركبات، الأمر الذي يهدد حياة مئات آلاف المواطنين والنازحين في مراكز الإيواء.

▪️نحمل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مسؤولية تفاقم معاناة أبناء شعبنا في القطاع بسبب استمرار الحرب واستمراره فرض الحصار.

▪️نجدد مطالبتنا للسادة في مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية وللمؤسسات الدولية بضرورة التحرك الفوري لفتح معابر قطاع غزة، والسماح بإدخال الوقود وتزويد المؤسسات والأجهزة العاملة في المجال الإنساني.

Press Release

▪️ We announce that we have run out of fuel to operate our vehicles (fire, rescue, and ambulance) in the governorates of the southern Gaza Strip, which led to the suspension of 8 out of 12 vehicles.

▪️ We warn that our humanitarian interventions and responses to citizens' calls in these governorates will be limited and will involve only 4 vehicles, which threatens the lives of hundreds of thousands of citizens and displaced persons in shelter centres.

▪️ We hold the Israeli occupation responsible for exacerbating the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip due to the continuation of the war and the siege.

▪️ We renew our urgent call to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and to international organizations to immediately intervene to open the Gaza crossings and allow the entry of fuel supplies to support humanitarian institutions and operational agencies.

🚨 "الدفاع المدني" وجمعية "البركة" تتفقان على تمويل إنشاء مقبرة للشهداء في خان يونس

غزة-
▪️اتفقت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني في قطاع غزة مع جمعية "البركة" للعمل الخيري والإنساني على تمويل إنشاء مقبرة لدفن جثامين الشهداء.

▪️وقال د. محمد المغير مدير الإمداد والتجهيز في مديربة الدفاع المدني إنه جرى الاتفاق والموافقة من قبل وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الدينية على إنشاء مقبرة تم تخصيص أرض لها بجوار المخيم الجزائري في منطقة مواصي خانيونس، بحيث تتسع لإنشاء 1000 قبر شهيد، بتمويل من جمعية البركة.

▪️وأوضح أنه سيتم إدارة عمليات الدفن من خلال وزارة الأوقاف، مشيرا إلى أن قانون الدفاع المدني يدعو في أوقات الحروب والطوارئ لتأمين أماكن محددة تتيح دفن الموتى حفظا لكرامتهم.

▪️في السياق ذاته، ذكر د. المغير أن جمعية البركة ساهمت أيضا في دعم وتمويل مديرية الدفاع المدني  باصلاح عدد من مركبات الإسعاف والإطفاء والتدخل السريع وتوفير الزيوت لها.

▪️وأعرب عن شكره لرئيس الجمعية شادي جنينة على دعمهم للدفاع المدني وتقديم المساعدة لأبناء شعبنا في ظل حرب الإبادة الأسرائيلية المستمرة، كما شكر مكتب الامم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية والهيئة العربية الدولية للاعمار لتوفيرهم السولار اللازم للمشروع.

▪️وأضاف د. المغير أن الدفاع المدني يسعى مع جمعية البركة إلى تنفيذ مشاريع خيرية وإغاثية خلال الفترة القادمة لتخفيف المعاناة عن أبناء شعبنا.

🚨 "Civil Defense" and "Al-Baraka Association" Agree to Fund the Construction of a Martyrs' Cemetery in Khan Younis

Gaza-

▪️The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip has reached an agreement with Al-Baraka Association for Charitable and Humanitarian Work to fund the construction of a cemetery for burying the bodies of martyrs.

▪️Dr. Mohammed Al-Mughayir, Director of Supply and Equipment at the Civil Defense Directorate, stated that approval was granted by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to establish the cemetery on a designated plot of land next to the Algerian Camp in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. The cemetery will have the capacity for 1,000 graves, funded by Al-Baraka Association.

▪️He explained that burial operations will be managed by the Ministry of Endowments, noting that the Civil Defense law mandates designated burial sites during wars and emergencies to preserve the dignity of the deceased.

▪️ Dr. Al-Mughayir also added that Al-Baraka Association has contributed to supporting and funding the Civil Defense Directorate by repairing several ambulance, firefighting, and rapid response vehicles, and providing the necessary oils for their operation.

▪️He expressed his gratitude to the head of the association, Mr. Shadi Janina, for their support to Civil Defense and assistance to the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing Israeli genocide. He also thanked the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Arab International Reconstruction Commission for providing the diesel fuel necessary for the project.

▪️Dr. Al-Mughayir added that Civil Defense, in cooperation with Al-Baraka Association, is seeking to implement further charitable and relief projects in the coming period to alleviate the suffering of the people.
