In case you missed it, quite possibly the most incredible series of events in the 21st century is occurring and the media is EXTREMELY quiet on it.

All over Iran, the people are rising up, tearing down the symbols of oppression that have lead to the deaths of so many in particular young women. As this is occurring the regime is actively gunning down the people in the street.


The people are burning the regimes flags, they are destroying party propaganda and they are calling in some cases for a return of the Shah, most likely in a constitutional role.


So while we sit here with our news dominated by whatever the self declared main character of the 2020s does after 30 diet cokes and a big mac, just keep an eye on the news, this has the possibility to be as impactful for the people of Middle East and Central Asia as the Revolutions of 1848 was for the average Europeans.

There is Hope, everyone.

Do not let the media cycle destroy you or harden you.

Highlight included:

- A kind of small resort/camp for brazilians where only the souvenir clerk spoke portuguese

- A staff member showing me some baby alligators in the sewer as if they were a tourist attraction

- An old american grandma cooking our food in plastic tupperware without burning the plastic

- Me getting lost in the city, accidentally arriving in a retirement home, breaking an old man out and piggybacking him across the streets

- Me and the old man I kidnapped met a street artist and stole her paint

- And to cap it off, I got into a fistfight with a gigantic alligator, and then a baby ogre who was just as strong
