Take investing - it takes learning, patience, mistakes, risks and discipline. This is hard for a lot of people because it's uncomfortable and the idea of opening a no fees account and buying $10 a week of some index or total market ETF seems like a wasted effort because thinking on a 20 year timeline is beyond their scope.
