I wonder how many aspiring software engineers actually think that editing in vim and installing hyprland on Arch are sort of the "pro" skills they should master to be good at their potential job instead of like playing with gitlab-ci, understanding build systems and testing frameworks, or learning how to troubleshoot systems.
Speaking of troubleshooting BTW, there's this cool website sadservers.com where you can solve puzzles around working with and troubleshooting Linux and common tools like docker, databases and reverse proxies

Liz-chan (@lt_three) has become kind of a comic figure in my eyes. Recently, he’s started opening up more about his job and profession, and whenever he talks about coding or working in that field, he comes across as a very responsible and capable man, it simply makes me admire him. He seems very intelligent and serious. But whenever he starts talking about his kinks, his gooning side comes out, and I’m like, “oh… he’s just a gooner idiot.” I can’t understand how he can act so mature and adult sometimes, and then the complete opposite at other times. It feels so comical, like a gag in an anime where a character is extremely gifted yet acts completely autistic.
