People sometimes brush off global warming as leftist propaganda. But think about it. You should know from your school Science/Chemistry/Physics class that water has quite high heat capacity - around 4200 Joules to heat 1 kg of it by 1 C (compared to something around 850 for concrete for example). Can you imagine the amount of energy it would take to heat the entire ocean by 1 degree?

Life is to be enjoyed. Even when you’re working towards a goal, finding opportunities for joy is extremely important. If all you do is work and you keep telling yourself you’ll see the benefits tomorrow, you’ll burn out. Also, no one is promised tomorrow.
