So, what's personal branding all about?
It's basically how you get the world to see you. How they figure out what you're good at and what you bring to the table.
It's about making sure when someone thinks about leadership, expertise, innovation, or fresh talent, your face pops up in their mind.
Now, why is personal branding a must-have for content creators?
โก๏ธBeing real draws people in: With so much content out there, being genuine is what sets you apart. A personal brand that's all about your real stories and experiences? That's gold.
โก๏ธStanding out from the crowd: For content writers, it's a jungle out there. A solid personal brand means more people notice you and what you're all about.
โก๏ธOpening doors: Did you know that having a strong personal brand on LinkedIn means up to 20 times more visibility? For writers, this means way more freelance gigs, job opportunities, and chances to connect.

Fastest new business launch I ever did - thanks to AI
Let me show you how much easier it has become to launch a business - whether a product or a service, thanks to AI. Anyone, anyone can launch a business now and every step is a lot easier.
I was thinking that I want to launch a new service, through which we can generate more work for our learners.
We give a lot of work to our learners, which they usually undertake under the guidance of our in-house experts, because by doing real life work they can really learn a lot that they cannot learn from mere simulation exercises.
Plus people love the RoI from the course if they can start earning even before finishing their course.
I got the idea of starting a quick and affordable ESOP service. Itโs something that is not hardcore legal or accounting services, but many of my learners, whether from law, CA, CS or even HR background, can work on ESOP set up assignments.
We decided to launch a new brand for ESOPs - and named it AccioESOPs.

At first, I asked my colleagues to make a brochure.
What I got was not something I was convinced about. It was dry, a lot of information. I did not feel that it speaks to the heart and minds of potential clients.
So what do I do?
I decided to do a client persona analysis. That too with the help of AI.
I want to know:
๐ Who are my ideal clients
๐ What are their common problems
๐ What are they thinking about with respect to the problem I am trying to solve
Let me show you how AI helped me.
I went to https://founderpal.ai/user-persona-generator.
I fill in the blanks.

This is what I got based on these two simple inputs.
There is a paid version where I could get more information about this persona, but I was already having enough.
Using this character, I wrote a simple journey story of Pinky, a smart and ambitious startup founder.
I described her pains, problems and experiences in story format.

We finish the story highlighting how Pinky benefitted.
My brochure was almost ready.
I just had to write the offer - the service and the price.
Then that was followed by testimonials from past clients.
I then converted the brochure into a website.
You can see our entire website here: https://accioesops.com/

How can you use this to build your business?
๐ Identify the service/product you want to sell and who will be a potential customer (I wanted to sell ESOPs services and knew potentially startup founders may buy)
๐ Get a persona created
๐ Now based on the goals, challenges, pains and aspirations of the persona, write down a journey that describes the person facing a challenge that you are ready to solve
๐ Now describe in the same story format how you solve the problem
๐ Make sure there is a happy ending
๐ Provide essential information, such as testimonials, price, your team, other factors like ratings etc
You got your brochure text.

You donโt need capital to start a consulting business
You donโt need capital to start a consultancy; It is only a limiting belief. And limiting beliefs stop you from fulfilling your destiny.
In fact, it was this very same limiting belief that my family and environment had injected into me: that I needed capital to start a business.
Sure you need capital to start a factory, a brokerage, or a paan shop. Even to be a farmer you need land and capital. But you do not need any capital to start a services business. Nobody told me this when I was younger!
They said: We are poor, we donโt have capital. So we have to study hard and get a job. Thatโs our only option. We are destined for this. My co-founder, Harsh Jain, had a similar experience. Hereโs what he has to say about this:
Until I was about 20, I had never even considered starting a business. I barely got enough education loans to cover my college tuition. But then, my university (a top National Law university) doubled the fees when I had just joined my second year.

We had no property to mortgage, so we could not get more loans for a lack of collateral. For some time, it looked like I would have to drop out of college if I couldnโt come up with the money. So I realised my only option was to start earning.
I turned to freelance work. Within a year, I was earning more than my parents put together. Yet, I could not believe I could start a business. The thought did not even enter my mind, because I had no CAPITAL after all.
But then something happened. A guy in my senior batch started an LPO โ a legal process outsourcing company. He posted photos on Facebook of his new office โ he had a client in America. He had a few employees. I was in awe. So I made a trip to his room in the boysโ hostel to ask how much capital he needed to do this.
He said: zero. He actually made a 0 with his index finger and thumb and showed me a 0! He did not explain how that was possible. But I got it.

He was doing freelance work, building relationships, and over time, collecting the people and resources that would help him kickstart his venture.
It took him about one year to go from idea to launch.
I was incredibly inspired. But most IMPORTANTLY, I realised you did not need CAPITAL to start a businessโ๏ธ You only need skills and hard work! Then why not me? Maybe I could also start a business?
This was followed by a visit to an event called Startup Saturday. I met several entrepreneurs there โ most of them struggling โ actually building businesses. Some of them were even raising venture capital.
It blew my mind. That is when I made up my mind that I want to start my own business. But howโ

I was not a software developer that I could make some software like the IIT guys I met at Startup Saturday. I had no clue what to build. Building a product seemed out of reach. So I opted to create a service.
I saw that these startups needed legal help but lawyers were too pricey and bureaucratic for their liking. However, I was not yet a lawyer, so I couldnโt just go and offer legal services. So I created something new โ a legal risk management service.
I would look at a business model, deeply study its practices and give the owner all the research on various legal risks. So that they could take precautions, insurances and countermeasures.
I did manage to get my first three clients by pitching to my contacts at this event, where I had started to volunteer so that I could talk to all the speakers and network. Not just small startups, we even got large organisations to give us work, such as the Vibgyor Group and even L&Tโ๏ธ

There was a problem though โ a lot of people rejected us saying you guys are just kids. How could we get them to take us more seriouslyโ
Then I started a blog, so that people would read my insights and realise I was smart, and not discount me as a kid. That's how I ended up starting the iPleaders blog while I was still in college, which has become one of the largest legal blogs in the world today. So as a 21-year-old โkidโ, I had my own business.
I convinced others to join me as partners too. We did not have an office until 2011 โ around the time when I was about to graduate โ yet we made money. It was difficult, but we made it work.
It all started with removing one limiting beliefโฆ.
So what limiting belief stops you from starting something of your own and giving business a shotโ Guess what - you can do it risk free! You donโt even have to quit your job to do it.

It starts small, with the few hours you can spare. And you can build it based on the experience you have.
You donโt jump into it; you patiently put in place relationships, ideas, resources and cornerstones before you quit your day job and take the plunge. In fact, you should not quit your job until you are sure what is going to happen.

Frustrated 40sโ
It was June, 2021 when sitting in a small cubicle of a digital agency in Kolkata I had decided that I had had enough.
I started a career in copywriting while still finishing my post graduation from Jadavpur University, at the age of 23.
It was exciting at first. I was both ambitious and a hard worker, a combination that generally works well in corporate.
I started as a trainee in a small agency and after that the years went by in learning the ropes of the game and I climbed up the corporate ladder quite quickly. From trainee to junior copywriter, to senior copywriter to copy head.
For some time, my job was very fulfilling.
But then I felt stuck in a middle management trap, after a good 17 years.

But then I felt stuck in a middle management trap, after a good 17 years.
I could do my job in 2-3 hours max.
Sometimes, a couple of hours more.
But I couldnโt find a new challenge for me, a new frontier to conquer.
It felt like I had achieved whatever there was to achieve.
I often wondered, โIs this it?โ
Of course, successful startup founders, business owners, and professionals operated at an entirely different level, but I did not have similar opportunities accessible to me.
It seemed to be a very different world, which was far away and isolated for me.
Was the rest of my career to be spent on leisure and bitterness, forever looking over my shoulder and wary of competitionโ
Then I remembered the seniors I had worked under. I could now understand why they were so bitter and frustrated.
I wanted to learn and grow, and I didnโt see a way out.

I started toying with the idea of doing something on my own, but I did not have capital nor a business idea to start a business.
I did not have savings, or family money. I thought that I should have enough savings to last me 3 years at least.
All of us, in our family, have been job holders for generations.
I did not know how to raise capital.
Even at the so-called peak of my career I was living from paycheck to paycheck.
This fear never allowed me to start my own business.
Is the same fear holding you backโ
Do you yearn for something more challengingโ
Does the fear of failure or requiring a lot of capital also prevent you from starting up, like it prevented me?
Then we have a solution for you.
