Sajal Kushwaha, our student from July 2021, who is also a college student from LNCT Group of Colleges Bhopal, started studying with us when he was in 3rd year.

He started by earning around INR 10K-15K per month in the first 5 months by working part-time.

First, take a look at a few examples I wanted to show you:

CA finalist Vijayathithyan B.B. runs a firm called Pramoth & Associates with his partner in Bengaluru, and he joined our course in October 2022.

When the time came to look for freelance assignments, one of his first activities with us was to post a basic video on LinkedIn about how to incorporate a company in Delaware, which our team showed him how to do.

He took 10 minutes to create the video with our guidance, and it was posted on LinkedIn at 11.00 am.

The very same day, a prospective client who had just incorporated a company in Delaware connected with him at 7.00 pm and requested a meeting.

This was an Indian AI company based in Chennai with a presence in the US, and they were impressed enough to retain Vijay for corporate compliance on a retainership of INR 2 per year.

He is also assisting them to set up a finance division for their Indian and US entities, and performing tax compliance both in India and abroad.

Simultaneously, he has sent out numerous proposals on Upwork, via email, and on LinkedIn, and has earned more than INR 75,000 from freelance work until now.

Currently, Vijay is working on three International projects regarding the incorporation of two companies in Delaware and one in California. He will be earning INR 20-25,000 for each incorporation, having secured one of the clients on LinkedIn and the others through referrals.

Not willing to go freelance on a full-time basis?

Take the example of Jayesh Bhanushali, a 2010 Commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai and a qualified CA, who had not been particularly focused on freelancing before enrolling with us.

But in February 2023, right after he joined, Jayesh wasted no time building his profiles on Upwork and Fiverr with help from our team.

He secured his first gig on Fiverr within 30 days of joining us.

The project involved filing a franchise tax in the state of Delaware, earning him USD 80.

He struggled for his first two gigs on Fiverr. But he completed the work and received good reviews from the client.

This initial success motivated him to continue pursuing freelancing opportunities.

Since then, he has worked for more than 10 clients through Fiverr, mostly from the US, and has already earned approximately USD 650 from his freelance work.

Alongside his professional practice, he has actively taken on freelancing projects to diversify his income streams and expand his client base.

As he works on growing his freelancing career, he is on track to become a level one seller on Fiverr, a milestone that showcases his growing reputation on the platform.

A similar example is that of Raunak Mutha, a Jodhpur-based CA with less than three years of experience, who began our course in October 2022.

Having started his independent practice in May 2022, Raunak was eager to find international clients.

Once he joined us and saw the videos of freelance courses, he created a strong Upwork profile, learned the tricks of applying for projects, and within a month, had found an assignment on Upwork.

After following the strategies that we shared with him, he has now worked with various US clients on tax filing and other matters, and completed 24 projects on Upwork.

According to him, it takes 1-2 hours at most to earn USD 50-100 for such work.

An example of this is a 15-minute job to develop an LLP in Georgia, for which he made USD 50!

When was the last time someone paid you INR 4,000-plus for a 15-minute job?

He has earned nearly USD 2,000 till date from his international clients alone. This is excluding what he earns through his law firm and Indian clients.

When I was learning how to use Tally in Class XI in commerce specialisation, it felt very outdated (like MS DOS) and there was a huge learning curve before you could do anything meaningful with it.

Things have remained the same since then, especially for the Tally versions that are commonly in use.

One cannot collaborate with others or edit accounting entries live.

One has to download, email and load the file on a different computer.

It is unthinkable to integrate it with a client’s bank account and payment gateways.

Although Tally is the heart and soul of Indian businesses, if you want to do international bookkeeping and accounting work, you will need to use different software, like Quickbooks, Xero, Wave, or ZohoBooks.

They are also very easy to learn - almost plug and play.
