He has 12 more clients in the pipeline.

For annual income tax compliance and bookkeeping (US aspects) he charges INR 50K-1L per year - he uses Quickbooks and ZohoBooks.

Why should you consider working for US startups?
Once you begin working remotely even for a very early stage startup, other employers will be a lot more open to hiring you based on your previous experience of working with a US organisation and recommendations from former clients.
Which means you get access to more work, more jobs, more clients.
It is absolutely life changing to go from a small job or services market in a particular city, to a global job or services market.
If you think it is easier to prosper in a large city like Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi rather than a small district town, imagine what happens when you have access to job markets in New York, San Francisco, or Chicago!
