The “others” of the main cast(better known as nameless faces in the background of most beach scenes) except for Arnzt!

His character was short lived but he added some nice comic relief while he was on! Poor guy didn’t deserve to go out like that! 🧨 💥 🩸 RIP Leslie

The Constant Has To Be My Favorite Episode Of Television Of All Time Arguably

I am Re-Watching for the 3rd time, and it has been like 2-3 years since I had done a complete re-watch. This episode is genuinely one of the best episodes of TV I have ever watched. I think the jumping back and forth of Desmond's character really shows the true nature of the show as whole. Then finding his "constant".

Everything fitting together into a package/puzzle piece of an episode that is just so well edited, written, and paced. I just pumping at all cylinders when I am reminded, and see this episode again.

What is YOUR favorite episode and why?

We know that Walt didn't... but one small thing I can't remember

A little down the line something happened and Walt says to Locke "I didn't... yuno" and Locke says "I know" what was it that Walt didn't do?

Forget "The Constant" and season finales. What is your favorite minor episode of the show?

Yeah, we know you love The Constant. Yeah, we know Through the Looking-Glass was great.

Let's talk about those episodes that aren't remembered that much that you really appreciate.

I really like a lot of episodes in season 5, especially the ones with Eloise Hawking in it. "316" was epic with the characters returning to the Island, and with we getting a lore dump about the Lamp post station and finding out that the characters traveled back to Dharma time.

"The Variable" was also awesome, getting to know Eloise and Daniel's backstory, and the ending being a mindfuck that retroactively made everything about them better!

Fanmail address for Michael Emerson?

Hey there! Hoping someone might be able to help please? First time watcher, on S4 as we speak and loving it! I have a few favourites but Ben is fast becoming in the solid top 3 characters for me. So I was wondering if anyone knows an up to date fanmail address for Michael Emerson please? I draw and sculpt and would love to send a small gift and card in the mail if possible.

I've looked online and found Vanguard in LA but that seems maybe to be out of date? He has an agent listed with MN2S (Sharron Elkabas) in Ampersand Studios, Florida, which seems to be current but isn't listed as a fanmail address.

I both don't want to get it wrong, or annoy anyone! Thanks for any help :)

I think this is the 4th time I rewatch season 2 but this is the first time I catch "Widmore Labs" on the pregnancy test Sun got on episode 16

Ben Linus is such a badass.

I'm doing my 100ish rewatch and just got to 04x09. And Ben is such a cool character. When you put a force like Michael Emerson with a visionary like JJ. Good things are bound to happen.

But for the life of me. I can't think of why Ben is such a badass, at least direct storytelling. I understand he is very intelligent with high level thought, but was it ever explained? Like photographic memory or something. Or is he so cool because we just don't know?

My favorite scene

04x01 the cannonball scene. Hugo has so much joy for life and we get the cut to the boat being pulled up. And we see it through Hugo's eye. The confusion, the unknown, we feel it and when he shouts 'spot' the whole world shifts. This big loveable guy is taking a stand. It's just so beautiful

(Spoiler) John in the frozen chamber

Episode 5 iirc, was having my XX rewatch of the season and I realized I couldn't figure something out. WHEN, in history, does the scene take place when John turns the wheel, assisted by Christian? I can't figure out if it's in the past or in the future. The chamber looks sealed, which would drive me thinking it's in the past, but the speech from "Christian" makes it sound like it's from a close future (cause he knows so much about what's happening)

Episode Three of my hypothetical LOST Season 7 is done. This is where LOST fans would start arguing.

**LOST — Season 7, Episode 3: “NO ONE IN CHARGE”**

For anybody seeing one of these posts for the first time: I’m writing a hypothetical ten-episode continuation of LOST, set roughly twenty years after The End and The New Man in Charge. I’m treating it as a writing experiment: if somebody handed me LOST and told me I had to make Season Seven, what would I actually do?

The whole season is already structured, and once I post an episode, it stays locked. I’m not rewriting earlier episodes around Reddit reactions. I want people to be able to read it sequentially and have theories, objections, assumptions and arguments before they know where any of it is going.

Episode One was intentionally big \- the kind of premiere that has to convince you LOST has somehow started again. Episode Two pulled inward - smaller, more character-focused, more jungle, more like the scale of an ordinary early-season episode.

Episode Three is where I start fucking with things.

This is probably the point where I stop spending as much energy proving that a continuation of LOST could exist and start doing the things I would actually want a continuation of LOST to do.

And I suspect this is the first episode where some people are going to really love a choice I make while somebody else reads the exact same thing and goes “absolutely fucking not.” Good. That sounds fun to me.

There are a few fairly substantial swings in this one. Not necessarily in the sense of giant mythology reveals or returning-character fireworks. More in the sense of taking seriously what it would mean for roughly twenty years to have passed since we last saw this world - and then actually allowing those twenty years to have changed things. Some of my answers are probably going to seem exciting. Some may seem alarming. At least one is intentionally kind of ridiculous.

And I fully expect people to disagree about which is which.
The part that especially interests me is that I don’t think everybody’s first reaction will necessarily survive the season. Somebody who loves an idea introduced here may feel very differently about where it eventually leads. Somebody who hates it may eventually realize I was setting up something very different from what they thought they were looking at. Or maybe you’ll hate it now and still hate it when the season is over. That’s fair too.

I’m not saying that in a “keep watching, I promise it’ll make sense” way. Everything in Episode Three is supposed to work as Episode Three. If something thrills you, bothers you, seems suspicious, seems stupid, seems brilliant, or make you completely certain you know what I’m doing, that’s your reaction right now. I want that reaction.

One of the things I miss most about watching LOST while it was airing was exactly that: everybody having incomplete information, deciding what something meant anyway, arguing about it for a week, and occasionally discovering later that the argument itself had been based on a completely wrong assumption. I want to leave room for that.

There’s also something else in this episode I’ve been particularly excited to get to. For years I’ve heard LOST fans mention a certain kind of episode they always wished the original series had found an excuse to make. This isn’t exactly that episode. But I figured out a way to get surprisingly close. That’s all I’m saying about that. If you’ve spent enough time within the LOST fandom, there’s a decent chance you’ll know exactly what I mean when you hit it.

More broadly, Episode Three is probably the first installment where the twenty-year gap stops being background information and becomes something I can actually play with. What gets remembered? What gets misunderstood? What survives? What changes? What happens when something that once seemed impossibly important becomes
history? And what happens when people who weren’t there inherit stories from people who were?

If Episode One was the big “holy shit, we’re doing LOST again” episode, and Episode Two was me pulling inward and seeing whether this thing could actually settle down and behave like an episode of LOST, Episode Three is probably the first one where I feel like I’m really showing my hand about why I wanted to write a Season Seven at all. Not revealing the hand. Just showing you that I have one.

As before, once I post the episode, it’s locked. I’m not changing the already-posted season based on reactions beyond catching an actual typo or formatting mistake.

**LOST — Season 7, Episode 3: “NO ONE IN CHARGE”**

If this is the first one of these posts you’ve stumbled across, I’d strongly recommend starting at the beginning rather than reading anything about the later episodes first:

**Episode One — “We Have to Go Back”**

**Episode Two — “Because You Stayed”**
