This might be controversial but I feel like Naveen Andrews as Sayid was mid.
I notice that he can't control himself from slightly smiling even in the serious situations and dialogues.

What would you do if there was a device like in the Matrix where you can enter the digital world of LOST?
Rules: you can't spawn in stuff or edit stuff, you can die in the VR but you're fine in real life, you can pause and resume another time... Just straight forward rules, nothing fancy
Would you prevent blowing up the hatch? Prevent deaths? Hanging out with your favourite characters? Burn the second raft? Steal Sawyers gun stash? So many possibilities

Over 10er here
Nothing groundbreaking in this post. Just came to be with the tribe. Share feelin’s.
I’ve gone through the series over 10 times, and I’ve seen how others poke fun at those of us who’ve gotten into double digits. And they’re right, I do have a relationship with it.
Every watch is different. Every time I watch, I’m at a different place in my life. Different concerns, events, etc. So, my approach is alway different when I head into the jungle.
Every year, I’ll pick whichever character I resonate with and sit in their POV the whole time, thinking about the things that brought them there, how they’ve overcome or been defeated, what love means to them and what they do with it.
I just finished this year’s watch last week. I don’t know what I feel this year. I feel everywhere and nowhere at the same time, so I just let the ensemble wash over me. It felt like friends and family gathered together to show me “I’ve got what it takes.” Just what I needed.
——
I watched it with my son when it originally aired. It was a shut-up-it’s-on thing in our house. He’d be zoned in, trying to figure it out. I’d watch and get a look at how his mind worked.
He passed away 13 years ago. Lost is what I am and Lost where I go. Somehow, there’s a nugget of something I need each watch. Somewhere along the way is a memory of my son blocking the screen in front of us. He got closer and closer to the screen when he was chasing “clues”.
While not the most important time in my life, I count my time with them and the island high enough to revisit.
So, over 10 and counting.

The Five Ages of the Island
I posted awhile back about watching Chronologically Lost, and while I haven’t been able to watch much the last few weeks it has inspired me to think about the show from the island’s perspective and not from that of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. As I’ve been running it through my brain I think we can divide the Island’s time into five distinct “ages.”
1. The Age of the Mother. We don’t know anything about this, but it’s whatever came before “Beyond the Sea” up until the man in black kills her. I think we can surmise she was in charge for a very long time potentially hundreds, if not thousands of years. People came to the island naturally, she didn’t bring them there. As long as they left the source alone, she left them alone although she obviously disdained them. I think it’s fair to assume the massacre we witness in that episode is not her only one.
2. The Jacob “Absent God” Age. Jacob continually brings groups of people to the island to prove his mom and MIB wrong. Crucially though, he never intervenes, god is absent and unknowable, because he felt his presence corrupted the experiment. Essentially what he says in “Ab Aterno.” None of these populations survive and endure, for reasons unknown but we can guess it’s either through natural conflict or MIB’s interventions and corruptions.
3. The Richard Age. Everything changes when Richard accidentally convinces Jacob to take a more active role on the island with Richard as his emissary. He’s actually quite successful! A long term stable community, The Others, takes hold on the island that stretches back to at least the early ‘50’s, and probably much earlier. There is still conflict (the dharma genocide), but an enduring society under Jacob has been established. Which I think is what convinces him to start the fourth age.
4. Oceanic 815. The events of the series, predicated on Jacob intervening harder than ever before by nurturing and gathering a large group of candidates so that one of them can become his successor and defeat his rival. Which one? Doesn’t matter. Anyone will do.
5. The Hurley Age. A hopefully much happier, less violent time under the guidance of Hurley with the assistance of Walt and Ben.
All this is to say that I’ve never thought revisiting Lost in a new series was a good idea, but looking at it this way I see a lot of story potential setting a show in the islands distant past in the first or second age. I’d watch that.

Just finished Lost. I sobbed through the entire finale.
Absolute kudos to the writers of this show for handling so many themes, storylines, and characters while still wrapping it up in a way that made sense. All the way down to the small details, like Vincent lying down next to Jack as he died. I LOST it for that part!!!!!
Charlie being the first to remember because he had been waiting for them. “Desmond Hume is my constant.” Ben staying outside the church to move on with Alex. And HURLEY. If we could all strive to have as big of a heart as Hurley, the world would be a better place.
Not to mention Sawyer’s endless arsenal of nicknames. One minute I was crying over the pure emotion being showcased and next scene Sawyer walks past Hurley and calls him Big Foot. It’s hard to strike gold like this for one season of a show, let alone six straight. Bravo, Lost. Bravo.
We have to go back!!!!! 🥲💔
