A large number of students were actively participating in our virtual session with Dr. Biniyam Alemu, Dr. Elias Tadesse, and Dr. Kirubel Shesew yesterday , including students from sister local chapters.

The session had a spectre of honesty, the love of sharing experience, integrity, and fraternity.

Hello EMSA - Lorcan members,

👉We  would like to Congratulate and Welcome  Etsub Siefu for joining the Executive Board as the new Vice President for Members 🎉 🎉 🎉

Etsub is a PC2 student and was previously the Vice Director for SCOPH - Lorcan. She is known around the college for her volunteerism in different organizations and her energy to help out in different events.

The evaluation consisted of an action plan, CV, motivational letter and an interview for the position. After a deep assessment, it had come to the conclusion that Etsub was the best person for the job.

We would like to thank Etsub for putting her time and effort into her application and we wish her an amazing term.

MOH in collaboration with St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College and GIV Society Ethiopia, is organizing a free medical campaign with a title of ‘Virtue For Our Health’ for unprivileged community in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

General medical screening and treatment, pediatric/malnutrition, gynecology, dermatologic, ophthalmologic, ENT, dental screening, psychiatric evaluation, radiology and lab services including health education will be provided.

Date: from Thursday, August 17, 2023 to Wednesday, August 23, 2023 /Nehase 11-17/

We would like to announce that we have successfully finished the Zewditu Meshesha project.

💫EMSA Lorcan along with EMSA AA and other LCs have been working tirelessly on the Zewditu Meshesha project,which was first started by Social Duty Alliance, a local NGO and also a team of doctors trying to make a difference in the country.

💫We would like to thank our SCOPH and SCORP team in providing the health education training and the humanitarian aid for ZEWDITU MESHESHA CHILDRENS AND FAMILY CHARITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION.

💫We thank the Orphanage, SDA , LMC,all LCs that have participated in the fundraising hiking event ,all our local chapter students that have helped us along the ways from donating money, clothes and sharing ideas.

💫We would like to specifically thank Tefera Yirga , a PC2 medical student here in LMC and a pharmacy owner. The time, energy and money that he has contributed for the purchasing of the drugs is not to be forgotten.
