Justice for Matthew Felix Today, August 23 at 1pm @younglongislandforjustice is marching with many community groups from Elmont in Long Island into Queens Cambria Heights to demand justice for Matthew Felix. Matthew was shot and killed without warning by the Nassau County Police department in Queens out of their jurisdiction. Now the family is demanding answers and Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and NCPD Police Commisioner Patrick Ryder aren’t listening. Come out to support Matthews' family and stand with them while they still struggle to get basic information from the NCPD. --- MARCH LOGISTICS: March Time: 1:30PM Elmont Rally Time: 1:00PM Cambria Heights Closing Rally: ~ 2:30PM We will be marching from Elmont, NY on Long Island to 217th St. and Linden Boulevard in Cambria Heights, Queens where Matthew was killed. Our meet up location is posted on the event page, but feel free to meet us anywhere along Linden Boulevard. Reach out to our page and we can let you know where we are on our route.
