I wanted to address some stuf that went out today on twitter and on this page just to cover a few things. You may have seen earlier that a post went out encouraging artists from our community to submit some artwork. There seems to have been a miscommunication of it being in exchange for prizes. I wanted to take a moment to address some of the background behind what went into this. First the idea came from one of our staffers to try and spice up our design posters to give them a little more flare. In the past when we had asked about getting support from the community we didn't always get the most responses. So the idea was hatched that to sweeten the pot and to entice others to want to submit potential art concepts that they had already made that we would offer prizes for peoples time and effort just as a thank you. The end goal was to try to find an artist we could bring on as a retainer on an ongoing basis that we could pay monthly for all of our events. LOBO has a history and our staff can vouch for this of paying our staff including DJ's, Dancers, Security, Door Staff, ETC. So it only makes sense that we would want this to extend to artists as well. The main goal of this was to find someone we could pay to make some LOBO posters while also giving out prizes like merch,fans and tickets as a thank you to those we didnt choose as a thank you for applying. I regret however that this isn't how it came across. That is 100% on me for not catching the wording better before the tweet went out. For that I apologize.

For the first time in LOBO's history this weekend will see us running two events on the same weekend in two separate cities.
First we will be making our debut in Atlanta at the Heretic with DJ Jake Maxwell. We are so excited to bring our event to Atlanta and can't wait to see you all this weekend
Also this weekend we will be making our return to LOBO Chicago with Razeth, Drittauge, Friccy Biccy (LOBO Debut), and Shammers. Its going to get weird this month in Chicago so you won't want to miss this one!

We just wanted to let you know that starting in October LOBO DC will be requiring proof of Vaccination to enter the event. Physical cards and Digital cards (Photos, apps, etc) will be accepted at the door. This will be required to enter the building on either floor and if you do not have your card you will be asked to return once you have it. We look forward to seeing you all in October.
