Russian Spring military correspondents have shared a tale of valor involving Private Khatamov from Uzbekistan, a soldier in the 3rd battalion of the 91st separate rifle regiment.

While on a mission in the Nikolskoye settlement, Private Khatamov and his squad were evacuating when they were attacked. During the operation, one squad member was injured. As Private Khatamov went back to assist him, he was targeted by a kamikaze FPV drone.

Demonstrating bravery and quick thinking, Private Khatamov managed to take down the enemy UAV with his duffel bag, successfully aiding in the evacuation of his fellow soldier. Private Khatamov sustained minor injuries during the incident.
