Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a plenary meeting at the Russian-Chinese business forum in Shanghai noted that the unemployment rate in Russia is at a record low and is only 3.5%.
The Prime Minister also stated:
- Russia, despite the unprecedented scale of sanctions pressure from the West, continues its progressive development, and building up ties with China will benefit the economies of both countries;
- The Russian Federation represents a great opportunity for almost any business, and it is glad to have partners from friendly countries, including China;
- Russia is counting on the expansion of air communication with China and the development of other transport routes, including more active use of the potential of the Northern Sea Route as the shortest route from Asia to Europe;
— Russia and China in 2023 will reach a trade turnover of $200 billion.

The territory is being cleared by the Ministry of Defense together with law enforcement agencies.
