Crowdstrike bent the windows

Recently a truly epoch-making event took place. Today, millions, if not billions of computers are out of order. Airports, hospitals, self-service cash desks, regular Windows computers. All of them, having received the new crowdstrike firmware, began to produce a blue screen.

How did this happen? The crowdstrike company provides software to ensure the security of the device, and therefore the program works equally with windows, and 1 small error in the crowdstrike code broke the entire windows, and it could not start normally because of this.

And what makes the situation even more absurd is how this update reached users. 1 new employee of the company wrote code on 1 day of work, which then, after checks, ended up in the main version of the software, the result is obvious. So now this guy is the culprit of the largest computer collapse in history!

In general, you can’t blame him, because more experienced developers checked this code, but did not notice the error.

Well, what can I say. 10 hours of work, and this is the result. Overall it’s ok for me. The hardest part here was getting the arrows to work and linking the cards to a specific area.

This is the concept of the future ControlHub application. And I came to the conclusion that creating a bot would be pointless if the application interface is so convenient. I will also write everything in svelte with the shadcn library under the hood. It will be difficult, but I believe in myself.

For fun, I'm remaking the site of 1 hall. If someone asks why, 1 so that later I can agree with them on a subscription, for the site. But if it doesn't work out, then I'll gain experience in using svelte and shadcn in particular.

I think this is the +- final version of the main page, now we need to make a page for managing regions, adding other users to the region, creating teams and settings. Overall, the main page was the most complex, so it will be easier from now on.
