🇷🇴 Romania will shoot down Russian drones if threatened - defence chief

Romania's Deputy Chief of Defence Staff, General Georgica Vlad, said that Romania is ready to shoot down Russian drones that pose a threat to it.

Georgica Vlad said that due to Russia's frequent attacks on Ukrainian ports on the Danube, which is close to Romanian territory, Romania has deployed about 600 military personnel and radar systems in the Danube Delta region.

"We have deployed several radars, we have activated our defence system and we have discussed with our NATO allies solutions to counter Russian aggression," General Vlad said.

When asked whether Romania would use its air defence system against Russian drones, Georgica Vlad did not exclude the possibility of it.

"Depending on the level of the threat, we are ready to use all available military means to defend the territory of Romania," he said.

The occupation administration is completing preparations for the start of mobilisation in the TOT of Kherson region

Preparations are underway in the temporarily occupied territories to start mobilising the local population for the war against the Motherland.

Thus, in the occupied lands of Kherson region, a fake "military enlistment office" has already developed a mobilisation plan and started issuing calls to reserve officers. The "military commissariats" operate on the basis of data provided by residents during the "elections" and the distribution of food packages.

At the same time, 100 calls were issued in Donetsk region during the 'elections'. Military commissariats are also actively collecting data on people born in 2006 with a view to mobilisation in 2024.

It should be noted that the mobilisation of residents of the occupied territories is a gross violation of international law and indicates Moscow's intention to destroy Ukrainians.

A nice piece of "analysis" on ruzzian state TV (Video)

It seems ruzzia itself struggles to frighten USA. But with the support of the bigger player, North Korea, everything is going to be completely different, right?

Dozens of Russian occupiers are captured every day, - Andriy Yusov, representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine

"Every day we record the arrival of dozens of Russians in Ukrainian captivity. Among them are both those who were captured as a result of hostilities and those who surrender voluntarily"

Andriy Yusov also spoke about a sharp increase in the number of applications under the Ukrainian state programme for surrendering to captivity "I want to live": from 70-100 to 170 or more.

This effect among the Russian military was provoked by the successful special operation of the Ukrainian military intelligence "Sinitsa", as a result of which the pilot of the Russian Air Force Maxim Kuzminov drove an Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine.

A fantastic story that happened during the assault on Andriivka.

The assault group of the 2nd Mechanised Battalion of the 3rd assault brigade takes another group of prisoners, while the enemy, realising that the village is lost and its fighters are surrendering en masse, orders to open fire on their own.

Shell explodes. There is silence at the command post, everyone is getting grey. The smoke dissipates - all of our guys are intact, one prisoner is in pieces, two are lucky and are taken out to live. In war, luck plays a role.

👽 Russia on Saturday denied a Ukrainian claim to have recaptured the devastated eastern village of Andriivka, a stepping stone on the way to the town of Bakhmut.

“The enemy did not abandon plans to capture the city of Artyomovsk of the Donetsk People’s Republic and continued to conduct assault operations ... unsuccessfully trying to oust Russian troops from the population centres of Klishchiivka and Andriivka,” the Russian defence ministry said in its daily briefing.
