2,000 years ago, when Qin Shi Huang became China’s first emperor, the very first thing he did was come here to perform a sacred ceremony, to declare himself the true “Son of Heaven.”
Today, when you stand above that sea of clouds, you’ll feel like you’ve transverse back to the Qin dynasty!

After Taishan, we’re taking you to a completely different world: Hengshan.
If you grew up reading Jin Yong’s novels like I did, stepping into Hengshan feels exactly like a scene from The Smiling, Proud Wanderer.
The highlight? Seeing the Xuankong (Hanging) Temple that’s been "clinging" to a cliff for 1,500 years.

To balance the peaks, we head to the coast at Laoshan, Qingdao.
It’s the only famous mountain in China where you can hike with one side being a lush green forest and the other being the endless blue of the Yellow Sea.
