The Supreme Court on Monday refused to pass any interim order suspending Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Instead, it issued a notice to the Election Commission and the Centre, seeking responses within a week on a plea challenging the manner in which the poll panel, led by CEC Kumar, allegedly took decisions without the approval of the two other Election Commissioners.
