PM Narendra Modi, in his concluding remarks at the BRICS Summit, called for reforms in global institutions, equal participation of the Global South in emerging technologies, and collective action to turn the New Delhi Declaration into tangible outcomes.

PM Modi thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for China’s support and cooperation during India’s BRICS chairmanship and said the two sides now have an opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation. He also extended a warm welcome to Xi Jinping to India.

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Hongqi N701 has drawn attention during his visit to New Delhi for the BRICS Summit. The N701 platform is powered by either an upgraded 6.0-litre V12 petrol engine producing approximately 408 hp, or a modern 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 paired with a hybrid electric powertrain, developed in-house by FAW.
