Young squash player Anahat Singh created history on Saturday after she became the first Indian to clinch the World Junior Squash Championship title.
The 18-year-old did so after clinching a 3-0 (11-3, 11-7, 11-9) win over Ruqayya Salem of Egypt in the final of the tournament that took place in Canada.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh introduced on Monday the Bill to amend the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, proposing more stringent laws to address paper-leak incidents. The Bill was tabled around 12 pm, after the Lok Sabha resumed following adjournment amid ruckus by the Opposition. The legislation is expected to be debated for eight to 10 hours, with the NDA fielding Bansuri Swaraj and Tejasvi Surya to lead the discussion, as per reports.
