Mint Charts | Amid the debate over work culture for employees in the formal sector, a govt report reveals that while salaried jobs offer better pay and are of higher quality, their employees work longer hours.

Salaried employees worked 49.3 hours per week in 2022-23 and 48.8 hours in 2023-24, according to the Periodic Labour Force Survey.
