Mint Charts | The Indian stock markets have been scaling new highs, but a performance gap has emerged among mid- and small-cap stocks.

Over the last month, Sensex rose 4.6%, while small-cap and mid-cap indices increased by 4.1% and 2.2%, respectively.

The disparity has grown, with 24% of top 500 stocks down 20% from their one-year highs, a Mint analysis showed.
