Much of my success in entrepreneurship has come from allowing myself to be pulled towards a future vision for myself, my family, and my community.
This was a contrast to my previous mindset which consisted mostly of being pushed away from being broke and other things I feared or didn't want.
One of the things that pulls me nowadays is one day having a big warehouse with an arcade and fun center in it. Pool tables. Ski ball. Air hockey. Pac man. Street fighter 2 and mortal combat. And this kickass game.
Wanna know another thing that pulls me about this vision? The arcade will be run as a biz and/or will be an amenity on one of our developments and every single game purchase will be a tax dedication!
These are the things that occupy my mind all the time.
And for me, all these big dreams and visions are not a matter of if, but when.
What is it that pulls you in life?

That’s a direct quote from a speaker at the World Economic Forum’s Great Narrative Summit held this past January.
She was paraphrasing the Edelman Trust Barometer report from a few years ago.
Notice she thinks our trust in "elites" is a BAD thing.
Haha!
These people have no idea how much they’re despised and disregarded by those of us who see exactly what they’re doing and those of us that REFUSE to participate in their lies and schemes.
It’s easy to think that we free-thinking, freedom-loving "radicals" are in the minority.
The truth is the exact opposite:
Our radical distrust in the media, academia, government, and supranational, non-governmental organizations like the WEF is shared by people in dozens of other countries.
Just out of curiosity, I looked up the most current Edelman Trust Barometer to see where the polls stand now.
The results are seemingly even "worse" (by the WEFs standard) for distrust in "elites."
The vast majority of people polled view:
The government and the media as a "divisive force" in society, rather than a unifying one.
The government as UNABLE to "solve societal problems" or "successfully execute plans and strategies."
Government leaders, journalists, and CEOs as the LEAST trusted leaders in society.
We should rejoice that so many people are waking up to see their true enemies!
But I will point out that I think the majority of people polled would still probably PREFER the government be "improved" and transformed into an institution that can "solve societal problems."
This, to me, is THE most important "meta" problem of the age we live in: people looking for and desiring a government leader to save them.
This is the fantasy that keeps the "elite" in power.
The government will ALWAYS create more problems than they solve. And often, their "solutions" are worse than the problem.
I know you probably already "get this" but it’s worth repeating.
The question you have to ask yourself now is, what are you going to do about it?
You already know my answer…
EXIT and BUILD.
Form alternative communities, institutions, and counter-economies.
The "elites" will never be satisfied with what they currently have.
They’re using all of their tricks - war, cultural hot button debates, economic turmoil, fearmongering - to keep the majority distracted, confused, and hopelessly afraid as they steal as much wealth and power from you now and far into the future.
The boldest and most effective strategy I know of to counteract their evil plans is for us to form our own strongholds of liberty that can’t be toppled or exploited.
I’m talking about creating sovereign and self-sufficient communities in the country that preserve peace, freedom, prosperity, and life.

"What can we DO to have more freedom RIGHT NOW?"

I told him simply:
EXIT and BUILD.
It’s the most powerful and actionable strategy we have available.

So I explained…
My good friend and tireless activist, independent journalist, and radical agorist Derrick Broze invented the concept of "Exit and Build."
It goes like this...
Instead of working within the system or yelling at government buildings (something I did for YEARS in my early activist days and ended up only slowing the growth of tyranny instead of creating more liberty)...
We should focus our efforts on exiting the institutions we find objectionable, unethical, corrupt, and useless.
In other words…
Exit the centralized and build the decentralized
Exit the coercive and build the voluntary
Exit the surveillance institutions and build the privacy institutions
Two practical examples of this in action are:
Exiting the central banking system and using cryptocurrency.
Or exiting the public school system and enrolling in liberty-minded private schools or homeschool cooperatives.
"Exiting" is the opting out of existing institutions…
While "building" is the creation of alternative institutions.
The goal is that someday these alternatives will insulate us or at least allow us to maintain a standard of living and quality of life without relying on corrupt institutions.
Tom grilled me with way more questions and I went even deeper on this stuff, how I envision it working, how it has the power to transform our culture and even lead to total political independence…

I knew what it meant to work inside the public system — the filings, the taxes, the fees, the permission slips.
They were running an organization that looked a lot like mine, except mine was chained to the public realm.
They didn’t register with the Secretary of State.
They didn’t file for approval.
They didn’t pay franchise taxes or submit to sales and use regulations.
They created a Private Membership Association.
And everyone involved?
Becomes a member.
That’s it.
The whole thing is governed by private contract, natural law, and protected under Article I, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution.
But don't worry, the concept applies to just about any country on the planet, especially those that have their roots in Common Law.
Since then, I’ve seen the PMA model used in incredibly effective ways and have started a couple myself.

I feel so damn blessed to be alive for this time of great transition and transformation.

My fiance was out of town.
My kids were with their mom.
And I was left home alone with more free time than I normally have.
Which led to some BIG PICTURE strategizing and planning.
I laid out my own personal "Agenda 2030" if you will.
But instead of an agenda hellbent on creating a totalitarian surveillance panopticon to subjugate humanity…
My agenda is for as many of us as possible to live, work, and play in freedom-based communities that are totally politically autonomous - meaning, we don’t use or require ANY services from the "old system" and exist fully within our own "new system" for peace and harmony and voluntary cooperation.
Tall order, right?
That’s why I need YOU to be a part of this vision.
So let me do my best to explain how I see it all happening.
(Don’t worry, I’m going to turn this vision into more of a concrete "manifesto" that will guide everything I create in and around Live Free Academy, the Exit and Build Movement, and the Freedom Cell Network.)
I’m reading a business book called Traction.
It’s all about building an entrepreneurial operating system (EOS).
One key part is having a 1-year, 2-year, 5-year, and 10-year plan.
Once you have the plan, then you need to figure out what you have to do to accomplish that plan.
Well, I’ve mentioned my plan for what I’m loosely calling a "Confederation of Freedom Cell Communities."
This confederation would essentially be our own nation.
Not a nation-state with an authoritarian government…
But a nation of free people connected by our common reverence for freedom, bodily autonomy, privacy, home education, growing organic food, sound money, doing business with each other, and so much more.
I’m working on building this society here in Central Texas, especially through the Freedom Cell Network.
In fact…
I see my life’s work as creating an environment where you can experience true political autonomy.
Meaning you are no longer subservient to some state, to some bureaucracy, to some ruler, governor, bureaucrats, city council, county commissioner, or anything else…
You’re a free sovereign human being.
And you are a part of a system of relating to one another economically, financially, educationally, health-wise and more that’s based on the principles of liberty and voluntarism.
I’m envisioning this happening by 2030.
Ambitious?
Yes.
But why not be ambitious for the most important thing we have in this world: freedom.
And why not set it for the same date the elites are attempting to strip us of our freedom?
Our enemies:
The technocrats…
Globalists…
Rockefellers…
Rothschilds…
Gates…
Schwabs…
And all those part of the Great Reset and Agenda 2030…
They’re NOT slowing down.
They’re TRIPLING down on their plans for worldwide domination.
They have hundreds of billions of dollars, control over the most powerful governments in history, and all the man and brainpower they could ask for.
But we have strength in numbers.
And I want to leverage our strength in numbers to the highest degree.
In order for my Confederation plan to work, we need to be congregated in close proximity with one another in a common geographic area.
Such as Central Texas.
Or parts of Mexico, where Derrick Broze is helping to build a thriving Freedom Cell Network and intentional community.
We don’t all have to be on the same property; we can be spread out in a large but common geographic area.
I foresee amassing 5,000, 25,000, or even 50,000 like-minded people in a given area.
Similar to what the Free State Project is trying to do in New Hampshire.
But instead of trying to "change the system from within"...
We use our collective power to opt out of the system altogether, up to and including taxes.
Taxation is theft afterall and I believe you should be able to keep 100% of the wealth you create.
The more people we have, the more political leverage we will have.
But again, we’re not using our leverage as a voting bloc or anything.
My kids were with their mom.
And I was left home alone with more free time than I normally have.
Which led to some BIG PICTURE strategizing and planning.
I laid out my own personal "Agenda 2030" if you will.
But instead of an agenda hellbent on creating a totalitarian surveillance panopticon to subjugate humanity…
My agenda is for as many of us as possible to live, work, and play in freedom-based communities that are totally politically autonomous - meaning, we don’t use or require ANY services from the "old system" and exist fully within our own "new system" for peace and harmony and voluntary cooperation.
Tall order, right?
That’s why I need YOU to be a part of this vision.
So let me do my best to explain how I see it all happening.
(Don’t worry, I’m going to turn this vision into more of a concrete "manifesto" that will guide everything I create in and around Live Free Academy, the Exit and Build Movement, and the Freedom Cell Network.)
I’m reading a business book called Traction.
It’s all about building an entrepreneurial operating system (EOS).
One key part is having a 1-year, 2-year, 5-year, and 10-year plan.
Once you have the plan, then you need to figure out what you have to do to accomplish that plan.
Well, I’ve mentioned my plan for what I’m loosely calling a "Confederation of Freedom Cell Communities."
This confederation would essentially be our own nation.
Not a nation-state with an authoritarian government…
But a nation of free people connected by our common reverence for freedom, bodily autonomy, privacy, home education, growing organic food, sound money, doing business with each other, and so much more.
I’m working on building this society here in Central Texas, especially through the Freedom Cell Network.
In fact…
I see my life’s work as creating an environment where you can experience true political autonomy.
Meaning you are no longer subservient to some state, to some bureaucracy, to some ruler, governor, bureaucrats, city council, county commissioner, or anything else…
You’re a free sovereign human being.
And you are a part of a system of relating to one another economically, financially, educationally, health-wise and more that’s based on the principles of liberty and voluntarism.
I’m envisioning this happening by 2030.
Ambitious?
Yes.
But why not be ambitious for the most important thing we have in this world: freedom.
And why not set it for the same date the elites are attempting to strip us of our freedom?
Our enemies:
The technocrats…
Globalists…
Rockefellers…
Rothschilds…
Gates…
Schwabs…
And all those part of the Great Reset and Agenda 2030…
They’re NOT slowing down.
They’re TRIPLING down on their plans for worldwide domination.
They have hundreds of billions of dollars, control over the most powerful governments in history, and all the man and brainpower they could ask for.
But we have strength in numbers.
And I want to leverage our strength in numbers to the highest degree.
In order for my Confederation plan to work, we need to be congregated in close proximity with one another in a common geographic area.
Such as Central Texas.
Or parts of Mexico, where Derrick Broze is helping to build a thriving Freedom Cell Network and intentional community.
We don’t all have to be on the same property; we can be spread out in a large but common geographic area.
I foresee amassing 5,000, 25,000, or even 50,000 like-minded people in a given area.
Similar to what the Free State Project is trying to do in New Hampshire.
But instead of trying to "change the system from within"...
We use our collective power to opt out of the system altogether, up to and including taxes.
Taxation is theft afterall and I believe you should be able to keep 100% of the wealth you create.
The more people we have, the more political leverage we will have.
But again, we’re not using our leverage as a voting bloc or anything.
We’re using it to collectively declare independence from the political system (and from being robbed by it) in a peaceful yet firm way
Peaceful noncompliance.
We will have a conversation with the authorities. They’ll no longer be our authorities.
So…
Over the next eight years, we have to focus on developing our own systems of social organization, finance, economics, education, health, security, defense, justice, etc.
Now that we have the vision, we have to ask ourselves:
"What actions must we take in the present to accomplish this vision?"
That’s the question I’ll be asking myself and everyone in the Live Free Academy and Freedom Cell Network groups, to the audience members of the Live Free Now podcast, and to all the brilliant people I know who want to achieve this vision with me.
And I have at least one answer currently…

This is the FOUNDATION of the Confederation of Freedom Cell Communities.

A lot of people say Exit and Build strategies are nothing more than "escapism," "retreatism," or even "defeatism."
Their logic is that if you’re not doing politics or protesting, you’re not fighting.

The truth is, voting and protesting are EASY.
You don’t have to know anything or create anything or really do anything except show up and check some boxes or hold a sign.
Those engaged in exiting and building are doing the HARD WORK of making freedom happen - right now, in our lifetimes.
We’re not abdicating our responsibilities to crooked politicians.
We’re taking responsibility for our own lives, our own liberties, and our own future.
And we’re staying focused on our mission of achieving lasting liberty for generations by building freedom from the ground up (literally, in the form of intentional communities).
That’s what the Exit and Build Land Summit II is all about.
See, most people are in a reactive mindset.
They’re rocked back and forth by the waves of "what’s happening now."
Tragedy in Ukraine…
COVID idiocy…
Biden blunders…
Will Smith slapping Chris Rock…
And around and around they go, spinning on the never-ending carousel of the 24-hour news cycle intentionally designed to manipulate your emotions, confuse your mind, and keep you trapped on the ride without ever making any progress toward your goals or liberty.
The way out of this mess is through being PROACTIVE.
Be the captain of your own ship to cut a straight course through the noisy waves of nonessential news to your destination.
Block out the winds of blustering idiots nattering on about the latest gossip or scandal.
Stay on the path of freedom!
And put all of your energy and focus into building your way out of the corrupt system and into a system of liberty, peace, and voluntary cooperation.
That’s what we’re doing over here in the exit and build movement.
We’re not waiting for someone else to give us anything.
We’re out here experimenting and trying new things, new systems, new ways of organizing human society.
And we’re always accepting new members into this movement because we depend on the intelligence, creativity, ingenuity, and innovation of everyone involved in this grand project for freedom and political autonomy.
