Hi friends,
We have some really exciting news to share!
We have been developing the next version of RavelightOS with the goal of trying to make the Ravelight last longer on a single charge.
The Ravelights' runtime is already good, but we wanted to see if we could make them even better, and better than anything else on the market - and our early test results have blown us away! We knew it was going to be good, but not this good. I guess that's what happens when you throw nerds at a physics problem XD
I'm really excited to share this update with you, and every Ravelight owner! (it will be a free over the air update, available on our website)
To achieve this, we have been arguing with physics and rebuilding internal structures of the Ravelight. We also accidentally made pairing with your friends (Party Up Sync) even better. And yes, the website isn't lying, you can really pair 100 Ravelights together. 😘
This update will also come with some other cool little features. The Ravelight is a fun fidget toy as we discovered from user feedback, so we wanted to lean into that a little more. So expect to see some of that in the next update.
I am really proud of the direction that RavelightOS is going. It is just very cool that we can make a Ravelight this much better for free, even if you bought it day 1 from our Kickstarter. You'll be lit up even longer when you're out and about this summer :)
