If you're wondering why I've been MIA , I sort of left the country and spent today #walkingaround #paris 🗼(we are staying in #verseilles for two days)!

Look; I was able to hire some machine gun carrying body guards 😳

For the last 3 weeks, I've been in #France with hubby and my youngest daughter. We went over firstly to visit my second daughter who has lived in France for almost 4 years and is now a #Nun 😍

We only got home last night (I'm holding off the sleep till this evening). The long distance travelling doesn't agree with me as I puke on arrival, get zero sleep on the plane and especially when it's 30hrs travel one way. 😳 We had 3 flights: 7+ hrs Melb to Singapore - 40mins transfer, 7+hrs Singapore to Dubai - 50mins transfer, then 7+hrs Dubai to #Paris !!!

Was a hard choice (afterall in France #wine is served always with lunch 😉), plus there's only one glass amount left in the bottle......but I chose the #wakeup #juice #coffee 😁☕

What a day !

Yesterday I ordered new tyres for my car.. two back needed replacing within 3 months, front two within 6 months, so might as well get 4 right?

My day today...🙄😭

Did school run.

Had to go back to pickup a son from school 11.50am to get him to his Tafe course at 1230pm.

Left home ..got almost to school and realised it was only 10.50am (blonde moment). Drove home again...got almost home (1 minute away), hear noise from my car..pulled over ...blew a tyre.

Meanwhile .. one of my daughter's had to borrow her eldest sisters car (as hers is dead). My other daughter had to leave for work at 12.30pm.

My daughter with the borrowed car (and broken down car) and I also had appointment at Mitsubishi to look at used cars.

We waited for roadside assistance to arrive (1hr). Said daughter drove home from where she was to picked up the other daughter (who took my spot and waited for the road side assistance to arrive - it was also pouring rain). She then drove my car home and managed just to leave for work.

Meanwhile my daughter and I, went back to school, made it to Tafe and the appointments, but realised the loan car was to be left at school and we had no way to get home if I collected my other son.

But fortunately, my eldest daughters plans changed for tomorrow, so the loan car is available for another day...

Tomorrow however, I've got to be in two places at once...my car currently has a small space saver tyre (can only drive at 80kms per hour) and I've a feeling the other can't be repaired to swap it over.

So I might just finish off this glass and top it up again 😁😍🍷🥂

My daughter filmed me taking out yesterday's #frustration at @9roundpakenham this morning. Lots of RED bars (#heart rate in the 90s)!

As for today's events, I'm now sitting in a #cafe ☕while my car gets fitted with 4 new #tyres 😳 (thankfully hubby manged to repair the old one so I could drive this morning) 😍

I made this earlier 😍 #dinner in the @brevilleaus #flavourmaker #crockpot #slowcooker - #beefgoulash #stew #beefstew #casserole .

#dinner last night. Pre cooked and defrosted #chilliconcarne on a #steamed #potato base with #bachamelsauce on top with fresh #parsley .

Served with a side #salad

A late #breakfast this morning (after a much needed sleep in).

Pan fried #tomatoes and #mushrooms .

Fried #onions #ham and #meltedcheese on a @abbottsbakery #gf toasted bread with #fetacheese and #avocado

#dinner prepared and #cooking in the #crockpot - Easy #curriedsuasages and #brownrice ready in the #ricecooker (the lid is currently in the dishwasher on cycle).

Had a busy morning and just got home to make myself a late lunch.

A #toasted #sandwhich (I melted the #tastycheeseslice quickly in the oven) with #mayonaise #avocado #cucumber #chicken and #lettuce on #gf #bread

It's a #soup kinda day - #cauliflowersoup with #garlic #leek #onion #cauliflower #veggiestock , leftover #bakedpotatoes and a little #cream - plus #salt and pepper added to the dished up bowl.

#dinnertonight - #delicious #chickendrumsticks with a variety of #vegetables - #purpleonion #capers #redcapsicum #calamtaolives #garlic #leek #rosemary #parsley #balsamicvinegar and #chickenstock

Got #dinner (and enough to freeze for another meal) organised early this morning.

Have I mentioned how much I love my @brevilleaus #flavourmaker #slowcooker #crockpot 😍 the fact I can get and cook on the stovetop first, then just lift the pot back into the heated base is the best.

#spaghettibol #bolognesesauce with #celery #onions #garlic #herbs #carrots #eggplant #zucchini #beefmince (found some frozen crushed tomatoes in the freezer), and lastly, added a bottle of #passata, then poured #redwine into the empty bottle, shook and added also to the dish along with freshly picked #bayleaves . Once the #tomatoes have melted, will add cracked #salt and #pepper and give it a good mix.

My kitchen is clean and I'm now for that second cup of #coffee 😁☕

#dinner tonight (see my profile for the previous post) , I'm eating #gf #pennepasta with my homemade #spaghettibolognese #sauce and #parmesancheese (the rest of the family have regular pasta instead).
