4 years ago today, is the #anniversary of my #caraccident . During an evening errand, I drove into a fallen tree on a dark unlit country (not #melbournemetro ) road and broke my #c2vertebra . 🤕

I'd already driven along this road only 1 hour before hand to drop off kids and was going back to pick them up. It was not windy or raining - just a unfortunate accident.

At the time it was extremely difficult. But now looking back on the last 4 years, this accident and injury was a blessing, as it brought hubby and I closer together as well as our family.

As far as my injury now goes, and after getting the metal #hardware removed from my neck on the 18th February 2019; I'm 95% healed (though the scar will always be there), the last 5% is a repeat of neck or shoulder pains, which flare up every now and then, but it will never stop me from functioning and trying to improve myself each day.

So today is my reminder, to be thankful for my life, my healthy family and friends and also to offer a prayer for all those souls that lost their lives on this sad day in history too. 🙏 #911 #prayers

It's a #gloriousday today, and perfect #weather for the #washing to dry; while sitting outside enjoying a #cuppa #coffee

Not sure how much longer I can sit here though, as it's coming onto #magpieseason and they are squarking in the trees and have flown past quite low .

I've been attacked while just sitting here or hanging out the washing last year, so it's predictable 😬🥺

What has Australia come to?

Today as I joined my online zoom bootcamp session (I try to attend 3 days a week - our gyms and exercise centres are closed), I was told and then ridiculed for my choice of a health directive. After 9 years training and friendship, I was told that I was no longer welcome to participate with the group outside or inside (when it opens up). After 10mins online, my internet failed and I left the class.

I've come far, but this won't make me quit. #unfair #notright

Lisa is a great example of a focused woman on a mission to “win back” her body! Lisa is the mother of 7 children (yes that’s not a typo!) and has been consistently working on achieving her weight loss goal since 2012. As you can see from Lisa’s before and after photos, she has lost 19kg and had a dramatic reduction in centimeters from her entire body. Lisa has had an awesome increase in her strength and fitness and now has more energy to chase after her 7 kids!! Good things come to those that work consistently on sustainable healthy habits, such as following a sensible tailored nutrition plan and attending 3 days per week of our Women’s Only Boot Camp.

Lisa loves boot camp and says “I couldn’t have done this without you Robb. I’ve shrunk everywhere, thank you!!”   Excellent stuff Lisa, you look fabulous!!

Fast tract to almost a year ago: during September last year (September 11 actually); Lisa was involved in a car accident. She hit a tree that lay across the road, doing 80kms per hour at night.

As you can see from the x-ray in the photo, Lisa broke her C2 vertebrae and was unable to move without pain for many months. In fact, she almost lost her life.

Lisa has been a client for over five years and has achieved a remarkable transformation. This includes losing over 19kgs, improving her eating habits and dramatically improved her strength. Lisa, your never give up attitude and drive to get back into your training and become functionally strong again has been inspirational. We’re all so proud of you!

#lunch today - we used our BBQ last night and surprisingly had some leftovers in the fridge.

I'm eating a #delicious #salad with some #leftover #cooked #chicken #kangaroomeat balls and #bakedpotatoes

Because, hubby now works from home, he has a similar on a plate, with #shreddedham #salad #cheesebread #hommus and #potatoes
