The lesson I take away from Apostle Paul’s memory of the stoning of Stephen is that it is a reminder that we are supposed to support and fight back for our brothers and sisters in Christ and NOT render aide and comfort to the enemy by standing by quietly when our brothers and sisters in Christ are under attack by the enemy.

That is my “take away”.

Someone on social media raised a question about the use of the term “lodge” in the name of The Liberty Lodge At Tomotley, due to the existence of freemason “lodges.”

C’mon, man. Are you kidding me???

Freemasons don’t own the term “lodge” and if they think they do, I claim it back as mine!!!

The Liberty Lodge was constructed in the late 1940’s as a hunting lodge for hunters who wished to stay overnight at a time when Tomotley was a hunting plantation.

Ronald Stanley suggested the name Liberty Lodge and I immediately liked it. I thereafter considered other names such as Liberty Cabin, Liberty Cottage, and Liberty Hall.

Ultimately, I did not vary from my first instinct and decided to stay with the name The Liberty Lodge At Tomotley.

I have learned in life to trust my first instincts!!!

The Liberty Lodge at Tomotley has 5 bedrooms (2 of which are outside and connect to the main lodge by the front porch).

The Lodge can accommodate 10-12 overnight guests.

The present plan is to require a 3-night minimum stay, booked through The Inn At Cotton Hall website.

I hope to have it ready for occupancy in the next 2-3 months.

Like me, Amy Lane is very excited about Liberty Lodge and getting it ready for guests, but her time is limited over the next month or so due to dealing with Cotton Hall Rice and a busy wedding season in May.

Amy is a blessing to me from God.

And I hope that many of you will be blessed by staying at The Liberty Lodge At Tomotley.

I remember like this morning when I was reborn and God made me a new creation.

Same man on the outside, new man on the inside.

I sobbed with my head down and told God that I surrendered my whole life to Him and put my whole life in His hands.

Rebirth is an event. Sanctification is a process whereby the Father conforms you over time to the image of the Son.

It was only a year later in the Fall of 2019 that the persecution started and has continued to this very day.

God’s timing is always perfect.

I share in the persecution of Jesus Christ in earth, knowing that I will share in His glory in heaven.

I am always willing to share my testimony with others and always ready to hear the testimony of others.

Doing so is informative and edifying.

A few final thoughts for the day and night:

It is now April 20 at Tomotley.

People will celebrate Easter today or as some more accurately call it, Resurrection Day.

I do not believe we know the exact day that Jesus Christ was born, died, and was resurrected.

The day does not matter.

We do not celebrate the day of these events, we celebrate the events.

I celebrate and praise God every day for the birth, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is my LORD and my SAVIOUR.

He gives me life, breath, and ALL things.

All means all.

Always has.

Always will.

I hope you rest well tonight and will press on tomorrow because He lives.
