Summary:

* Linux Mint 21.1 Vera (based on Ubuntu 22.04 jammy) to be released around Christmas (Dec 2022)
* Updated Linux Mint user guide.
* Blueman updated to 2.3.2
* Timeshift 22.06.5 backported to Linux Mint 20.
* PPA key will be applicable to a PPA only and not globally.
* Driver Manager now runs in user mode, requires no password. It also removes configuration files completely when uninstalling a driver.
* Nvidia debconf issue in secure boot mode is now fixed.
* Packagekit now removes configuration files completely when removing a package.
* Driver manager can now install drivers in offline mode if supported media is detected.
* ISO verification tool added to check the integrity and authenticity of ISO images.
* Mint USB Tool now has verify ISO option. It will direct user to a webpage if it detects Windows ISO.
* These desktop icons will be removed in future Mint release due to less usage - Computer, Home, Trash, Network.

Summary:
- blueman updated to v2.3.4.
- fixed 2 bluetooth icons showing on the panel.
- uninstalling apps or flatpaks no longer needs password.
- removing shortcuts or local apps no longer needs password.
- synaptic and update manager will no longer ask passwords for multiple operations.
- update manager can now update flatpaks and their runtimes.
- cinnamon panel's show desktop icon is now replaced by a separator.
- show desktop applet now sits in the extreme right of the panel, occupying less space.
- selected files inside nemo file manager will only highlight the names instead of icon+name.
- desktop icon now correctly shows the correct panel position.
- desktop right click menu now shows display settings.

Notable Changes in Linux Mint 21.1

- Theming improvements across Linux Mint.
- Accent colors are more vibrant
- Yellow is the default folder color
- Aqua is the default accent color
- Bibata is the default cursor theme, new cursor themes are added as well.
- Material Sounds v2 is the default sound theme.
- Old themes are available as "Legacy" under theming options.

- Tooltips have been added to the UI, will make use of accent colors.
- Cinnamon notifications will use accent colors and symbolic icons.

SecureBoot
- Upstream (Ubuntu) shim update broke secureboot support.
- Disable secureboot before installing Linux Mint.

- Now supports landlock and bubblewrap features for increased security
