Instalacion en Ubuntu y derivados:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kodi
Tambien se recomienda la instalación del codificador:
$ sudo apt-get install kodi-audioencoder-* kodi-pvr-*
