#book Site Reliability Engineering
Reading now, with that uncanny feeling that I've should have read it earlier.

Update on Site Reliability Engineering:
Finished said book. Avoid reading if possible. Contains lots of diverse, valuable wisdom and experience presented in Absolutely Awful Way.

Could be condensed down to 20 pages of notes (which is what I did)
Still reading, but it's already clear that this is The Book, not only on game design and not only for game designers, but basically required reading for everyone who aspires to have a holistic/systemic view of the design, development, teamwork, etc. processes.

Outstanding amount of references, breathtaking scope, which makes you think through a lot of aspects that otherwise look either too obvious, or unimportant, or get ignored in some other way.

Jesse Schnell puts all of these bricks in context and builds the big picture for you.
Also, the style and the language is impressively good, even more impressive if remember this is supposed to be just a reference!

LANGLEY, VA – The largest collection of declassified CIA records is now accessible online. The documents were previously only available to the public at the National Archives in Maryland. Approximately 930,000 documents, totaling more than 12 million pages, are now available in the CIA’s Electronic Reading Room on CIA's website.

I'm not a fan of Linux kernel in general, but handling page faults in userspace [2015] is a really cool feature.

Understanding Deep Learning requires rethinking generalization

Very entertaining article which could be viewed either as philosophical discoveries, or as "machine learning specialists rediscover information theory" :)

cyberpunk is already there. also, cryptocoins are slowly but steadily expanding the market for formal verification methods, which is a good thing.
