Dear Starseed,

There is an art that is essentially feminine in nature and that is the art of staying soft in a world that seeks to harden you.

Staying soft at its simplest level is taking a breath, pausing and reflecting before reacting to the sharp edges of the world.

Staying soft means gently embracing all judgement of self and other.

Staying soft means keeping an open mind and yet trusting your gut instincts at the same time.

Staying soft means forgiving yourself, releasing any self-blame, for any mistakes, past and present and seeing them as learning experiences.

Mistakes can always be rectified by one who knows how to remain soft in the face of hard challenges.

Sometimes staying soft means releasing beings and situations that are unable to soften, unable to change their hard and unforgiving nature.

This message is also something I am reminding myself about right now.
