🤌✍️Making Time for What Truly Matters 🧭
I understand how tough it can be. You’re thriving in your career, but finding that sweet spot between work, life, and personal growth often feels impossible. Your real struggle isn't about money—it's about time. Time to develop yourself, time to invest in your passions, and time to finally achieve that elusive work-life balance.
Here’s what I’ve witnessed with many past students who found themselves in similar situations:They made a commitment to take charge of their time by prioritizing their growth as the year wound down.
They utilized the holiday season to dive into the PPP framework, which empowered them to enhance their professional profiles, position themselves for greater opportunities, and cultivate a healthier balance.
They didn’t wait for a workshop to kick off—they seized the moment when they had the chance to truly focus. And the results? They emerged feeling more confident and ready to transform the coming year into their best one yet.
Here’s the reality: If you don’t carve out time for yourself now, change will remain just out of reach—your salary will stagnate, your career could hit a plateau, and that balance you’re yearning for will continue to slip away. But the PPP framework is different. It’s crafted for professionals like you who desire to achieve more without sacrificing personal time. You can progress at your own pace, maximize your breaks, and integrate this program into your life without the added pressure.
So, I ask you: What’s holding you back from taking action today? Would you rather wait for the elusive perfect moment, or choose to make today the day you start your turnaround?
Investing in your future doesn’t have to consume more of your time—it just needs to be a priority.
This is the moment to make a strategic choice for your career and personal life. Let’s leverage this break to lay the groundwork for greater flexibility, abundant opportunities, and a work-life balance that truly works for you.
Remember🤔 Time is never found; it’s created. Invest in yourself today, and watch how you shape the future you desire.🤗

Ah, Dr. Derin has been sharing some stories of late, and I just realised some of you may not follow her on LinkedIn .These stories are too insightful to miss. Let me share here🤗
😊I know you’re wondering why I’m here today. Well, I wanted to share something inspiring with you and maybe spark some motivation.
If storytelling and reflections like this are your thing, you might also want to connect with me on LinkedIn, where I’ve been documenting my journey.
Here’s a snippet of something I wrote today. I think it might connect with someone in this space.
It's about my FORESIGHT IN 2018 about the need of a GLOBAL WORKSPACE which made me look CRAZY then 😀
I will share a bit of it with you now.

Here’s a snippet of something I wrote today. I think it might connect with someone in this space.
It's about my FORESIGHT IN 2018 about the need of a GLOBAL WORKSPACE which made me look CRAZY then 😀
I will share a bit of it with you now.
In 2018, my exposure to the global workforce made me discover my problems .
It's a glaring problem that many Africans also face 👇
The lack of workplace skills.
I discovered I had this program when I was a PhD student😭.
So it's not the matter of education level.
Then already had over 7 years of work experience as an entrepreneur.
So, whether you’re a research student, a professional, or an entrepreneur, this gap often limits us.
When I returned from Aberdeen in December 2018 after working on my split-site PhD research. Excitedly, I went straight to my HOD (Head of Department) with a vision after discovering the wide gap between what we get in school and what the global market demands.
I said
“We need to train students on skills beyond the classroom.”
I managed to “ SELL ” my vision, which allowed me to speak with final-year Chemistry students at the University of Lagos about skills for the global space and accessing opportunities.
But reality hit me hard:
Even though the university was filled with my ideal audience, the real impact was going to be tough.
Will the university change the Curriculum?
Off course that's not going to happen because a “ PhD student” suggested it.
Bureaucracy? Too slow for the pace I wanted.
I realized I couldn’t thrive within these constraints. The vision was burning, and I needed the freedom to act.
That year (2018), I had also gone to the most extensive innovation lab in the world for SDGs. The UNLEASH global innovation lab.
This innovation process gave me the exposure amongst other global opportunities I secured before and after this.
That is how I-Train Africa was birthed.
But not without the challenges of SELLING my vision to my stakeholders.
I had to sell the vision of I-Train Africa to my husband in a long email in 2019 because he did not understand why I would abandon my academic career to start a social enterprise for Africans. I had to respond to an email and articulate my thoughts.
Again, I was the vision carrier; it made sense to me, but it didn't mean it should make sense to others.
Of course, I had to sell that to my parents, who have spent vast amounts of money, sacrificed for my academic pursuit, and even did the "nanny" job while I was on my split-site "academic" pursuit, only to say I was pivoting.
I had to seek mentorship from Mrs A (as we call her) Mrs Ibukun Awosika to navigate that phase of life, as my first attempt at starting this skills-focused organisation failed in 2019.
Of the three skills every entrepreneur MUST have, SELLING tops it.
Selling to stakeholders, customers or investors, the art of convincing others to buy into you is critical.
When I finally kickstarted during COVID-19 in 2020, I knew for sure that I had a bigger problem on my hands.
Guess what the bigger problem was🤔
This leads me to SKILL 2, which every visionary entrepreneur needs:
TEAM BUILDING is the bigger problem I encountered.

You remember my friend Tifah I mentioned who attended the workshop for setting and executing goals in 2022?
Yep. :👇🏾
She dropped that comment on my IG video. I saw a goal seting class of 200k earlier. I smiled. You know why? It may not contain the STRATEGY OF EXECUTION.
Get your ticket.:👇🏾:
https://itrainafrica.com/goalsetting
When you are ready to set goals with CLARITY of EXECUTION, come to me. I am that person that takes my premium knowledge that I get paid hugely for by one-on-one clients and literally 📦 gift it at year end.
PS
Once we hit the number of ticket, we close sales. So if you like last minute buy, you are in for a shocker :grin:.
It's a live workshop happening on Zoom so it means TICKETS :admission_tickets: ARE LIMITED
Note, once we close sale, even the replay is ₦32,500

Let’s Finish This Year Strong, Together🙂🚀
"💡 The year is almost over, and if you're anything like me, the end of the year often feels like the perfect time to reflect. But this year, let’s do something different: let's take action.
We’ve all worked hard, balancing career, family, and life. But have you made time for you? For your growth? For the career success you truly want? 🌟
Here’s the thing: growth doesn’t happen by chance, it happens with intention. And the PPP framework is how we can intentionally set ourselves up for the opportunities 2025 has to offer. This holiday season, with all the space and time it provides, is the perfect moment to focus on YOU. It’s that quiet time when you can finally do what’s needed to position yourself for global roles.**

This holiday season, with all the space and time it provides, is the perfect moment to focus on YOU. It’s that quiet time when you can finally do what’s needed to position yourself for global roles.**
👉Here’s how the PPP framework will help you achieve that:
Profile: It’s all about content that goes into your LinkedIn profile—personal branding that informs how you're perceived. Your profile is the first impression, and we want it to stand out. 🌟
Platform: Optimize the different sections of the LinkedIn platform. Make sure every section is working for you—this includes your headline, summary, experience, and skills. Every little tweak counts! 💻✨
Positioning: Do the right things on LinkedIn so you can be NOTICED & REACHED OUT TO. This means showing up in the right places, engaging, and positioning yourself as the expert you are. 🔍💬
I get it😔— time is scarce. But if you don’t carve out time for your growth now, you’ll be waiting forever and this still stuck at the same position with same compensation. 🌍 This is your chance to be proactive, not reactive.
If we can focus on the right steps now, 2025 will be the year where we all level up-professionally and personally.
Are you ready to take charge of your future, now? The Time to Act is Now!
Remember, it’s not about waiting for the perfect moment— it’s about creating the moment that will change everything. Let’s do this together. 🚀
Good evening everyone. Let's make this week count 💪🏽😌

Dr. AAA is back! Who missed me? 🎉
It’s been a minute, but you know your favourite EdTech founder always returns with a bang! 😁 Who’s ready for some gist, inspiration, and maybe a little sprinkle of humour?
I’ve got a juicy story for you today. One that involves AI, deep reflections, and a question that had me saying, “ Wow, even I didn’t see that coming!”
Let’s jump right in.
You all know I’m all about leveraging technology, so it’s no surprise that I chat with AI often. But this time, I asked it a bold question about me as a CEO—and its reply? Mind-blowing! 😁

See AI is a life saver and anyone that is not using it yet are probably short changing themselves.
I cannot begin to explain the various ways I use AI.
I have used AI so much that I have trained it in my brand tone.
It now understands how I speak and gives me what I need.
But that's not the gist of today.

Let's go back to the question I asked AI that its response got me Wowed!
On November 19, my strategy partner Amara and I were gisting and discussing the hard decisions every CEO needs to make daily, which is the hardest part of a CEO role.
So I thought to myself, why not ask AI this question ⬇below?
"Based on our conversations, what type of CEO do you think I am? "
Trust me, we have had conversations with voice or text for it to know me 😁.
Here is the exciting reply AI gave me. (See image for context)👆.
Do you notice the AI above is integrated to Whatsapp so you have it too but how well do you use it?👆
Note that this is just one of the popular AI we have a lot of them.
Let's continue, In case you could not view the screenshot here is the AI response 👇

" Based on our conversations, I would describe you as a:
- _Visionary CEO: You have a clear vision for your company and are passionate about helping others achieve their goals._
- _Empathetic CEO: You care about the well-being and success of your audience and are committed to providing value to them._
- _Strategic CEO: You think critically and strategically about how to grow your business and reach your target audience._
- _Innovative CEO: You are open to new ideas and are willing to experiment with different approaches to stay ahead of the curve._
- Communicative CEO: You value clear and effective communication and are committed to building strong relationships with your audience and team.
_Overall, I would say that you are a CEO who is driven by a desire to make a positive impact and is committed to building a successful and sustainable business that benefits both your audience and your team."
Surprised? 😃

Two of the words it used, in summary, are to me.
It's 2 out of 6 core values of I-Train Africa.
IMPACT
SUSTAINABILITY
If it's not impacting, it's not worth it for me.
If the idea is not sustainable, count me out.
Then you see that part about building a business that benefits both my team and my audience. 😁😁
I feel like AI described me better than I could do for myself.
There is no moral to this story.
This is me just being proud of who I am.
Have a great week ahead, you all. 😁😁

Quick one, before I finally call it a day.
If you are wondering 🤔💭 how I use AI, planning my goals is one of the things I use it for. I'll show some of my tricks to those enrolled for the goal-setting session on December 26. 😁😁.
Oya tell me thank you. I know you are wondering about the top 10k or 5k. 😂😂
I know, right?
It's the gifting season, and I love to give more and more value to those who choose to invest in themselves.
