Meet Aimalohi Alao from Nigeria who came on our signature program in July 2023.

When we asked her for feedback about her experience, here is what she had to say to these questions.

Q: What challenges were you facing that made you need our service?

Ans: I wanted to revamp my linkedln and prepare for global opportunities.

Q: What Was Your Experience Like With The Program, And What It Has Done For You So Far?

Ans: GOP opened my eyes to see that my years of experience can be deployed into any area and the need to get more soft skills have helped me tremendously on and off the job. I applied what I learnt on a junior colleague to secure a job and he did. Am also applying same techniques on the job with my colleagues and I see the improvement daily.

I AM THE HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE TODAY: HERE IS WHY.

3 years ago, I decided I wanted to solve the problem of decent work and economic growth in Africa.

To do this, I needed to do deep research on the problem.

I did not want to be addressing a problem I had very surface level knowledge about.

I wanted to solve it from a place of knowledge, skills and competence.

So I developed the prototype of my solution. The curriclum that will teach WORKPLACE SKILLS to every literate African who wanted to join the workforce as a freelancer, 9-5er, academic or entrepreneur.

I rolled up my sleeve and tested that curriculum for 3 years on 9 demographics.

Every time I did a 3-6 months testing phase, I refined the curriculum.

Then this year, my testing was complete after I tested it on an artisan.

Then I announced the Continental wide launch of the SKILLED FOR WORK ACADEMY by I-Train Africa.

The day we went live, I felt butterflies in my tummy.

My friend Amara said to me "Derin, this is going to explode. This is the real deal. There is nothing like it out there. You did a thing". 😁😁

I said I know.

When we finally started the training on April 2, 2024, we had 9 African countries represented.

I had used the Nigerian population during my testing phase.

So the 9 African countries are another milestone for me.

Imagine my joy from day 2 of the program till the very last day, EVERY SINGLE DAY, our Skills Stars as we call them kept dropping me wins upon wins about how their lives were changing.

One of our best graduating students Blessing, got a cash gift from her boss at work by week 3 given her workflow had witnessed an upturn and she was contributing immensely to the output they recorded for that month thanks to her new skills.

This same lady went ahead to design a CV for a family friend. Thanks to her new skills.

Blessing as at March 28 sent me an Instagram message saying she new she was rusty at work but was not sure of the program to take to upgrade.

She was contemplating another academic degree.

After she watched the clarity lessons on the WFS for free, she sent me a message praying for me for not allowing her waste her time going for another degree when what she needed was workplace skills.

That is just one of many.

Do you know the millions of Africans who are currently jumping from on certification to the other or one degree to the other in a bid to upgrade? Whereas, what they need is CLARITY and WORKPLACE SKILLS?

Imagine me knowing that I have the solution to their problem and this solution is working ALREADY for Africans across 10+ countries? 😁😁😁

Now you see why I am the happiest person.

I have butterflies in my tummy because like my friend Amara said, this is about to explode across the continent and I am here for ALL OF IT.

CHEERS TO THE AFRICA WHERE LITERATE YOUTHS WILL NO LONGER LACK EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS AND OUR WORKFORCE WILL HAVE A SUSTAINABLE PIPELINE OF SKILLED WORKERS.

Meet Unekwu Odiba from Nigeria who came on our signature program in March 2024.

When we asked her for feedback about her experience, here is what she had to say to these questions.

Q: What challenges were you facing that made you need our service?

Ans: I wanted to increase my visibility globally and to be able to secure remote job placements. I needed to learn new skills to diversify and gain promotion in my field.

Q: What Was Your Experience Like With The Program, And What It Has Done For You So Far?

Ans: The GOP experience was both drilling and thrilling for me as I was made to explore the hidden knowledge embedded in the course. The classes are convenient, impactful, and self-paced. I also had to work on myself after listening to the clarity session and that made me to be more specific in my goal-setting using the SMART approach.
The LinkedIn Optimization class is topnotch and I am yet to recover from the enlightenment I have gained. For me, it is a lifelong strategy as I have learned to be well-positioned for good opportunities both nationally and globally. I am glad I made the investment and I thank Dr. Aderinsola Adio Adepoju, for taking the bold step of educating people this way.
