The LightLink APAC Hackathon has attracted attention from industry partners!

More than 25 partners have joined the hackathon so far. We are thrilled that VCs, infrastructure providers, prominent investors, and media outlets are supporting our growth! A warm welcome to all our backers.

Amongst the judges are some of the best VCs in the region. Their combined AUM exceeds $2 Billion USD consistently selecting the top crypto unicorns for investment during bull cycles. The judges will be closely scrutinizing our participants' projects.

#LightLink can surpass 5,000 TPS, outperforming Ethereum's theoretical 120 TPS. This has been confirmed first by tests, and now by our Mainnet performance.

How is it possible on EVM without risking breaking the chain? 🧵

The maximum TPS for EVM chains depends on the gas used per block. Ethereum's cap is at 30M gwei. With a minimum transaction gas of 21K gwei and a 12-second block time, the max TPS is roughly 120.

After our #TGE, we plan to increase the gas limit to 60M gwei. This will take #LightLink to a max of 5,714 TPS. We can also increase this limit in the future to maintain the lowest possible fees.
