Update on the Los Angeles Data Center Service Disruption
Due to recent persistent heavy rainfall in Los Angeles, disasters have occurred in certain areas, prompting emergency repair work. During these operations, local backbone fiber optic cables were accidentally damaged, resulting in the interruption of our related circuits in Los Angeles.

Our service provider has now completed locating the faulty cable nodes, and repair personnel are on-site conducting fiber splicing restoration. Network services are expected to gradually recover within "1–2 hours", while repair efforts continue.

We are closely monitoring the restoration progress and will keep you updated with the latest information promptly.

在近期机房例行巡检过程中，我司发现现有电力系统存在潜在安全隐患。为保障整体机柜运行安全及长期稳定性，机房已决定对现有电力系统进行统一换新与全面升级改造。

本次升级涉及整体供电架构调整，包括配电单元优化、电力链路重构及负载重新分配，将采用分批次、分阶段方式实施。

【整体安排】
本次升级预计持续 7–8 天，在5月9日前完成，期间将按机柜及供电回路分批执行，非一次性完成。

【影响时间窗口】
每日计划操作时间为：
北京时间 00:00 – 当日中午前后

【影响说明】
- 在对应操作窗口内，涉及服务器将进行断电处理
- 由于服务器分布在不同机柜及供电回路中，可能在不同日期分别参与本次升级
- 在整个升级周期内，存在多次阶段性影响的可能
- 升级过程中包含电力链路切换、负载重新分配及通电后的逐项验证
- 单次中断时长将根据实际操作进度动态变化
- 每日操作完成后，服务器将陆续恢复运行（预计中午前后，具体以实际为准）

Important Notice : Los Angeles Data Center Power System Upgrade

Dear Customer,

During a recent routine inspection of our Los Angeles data center, we identified potential safety risks within the existing power system. To ensure the overall safety, reliability, and long-term stability of cabinet operations, we will carry out a comprehensive replacement and upgrade of the current power infrastructure.

This upgrade will involve adjustments to the overall power architecture, including optimization of power distribution units (PDUs), reconstruction of power delivery paths, and rebalancing of electrical loads. The work will be implemented in multiple phases and batches.

[Overall Schedule]
The upgrade is expected to take approximately 7–8 days and is scheduled to be completed before May 9 (local time, Los Angeles). The work will be carried out in batches based on cabinets and power circuits, rather than all at once.

[Maintenance Window]
Planned daily maintenance window:
00:00 – around noon (Los Angeles local time)

[Impact Details]
Servers within the affected scope will be powered off during the maintenance window
As servers are distributed across different cabinets and power circuits, they may be affected on different dates
There may be multiple staged impacts throughout the entire upgrade period
The upgrade includes power path switching, load redistribution, and post-power-on validation
The duration of each interruption may vary depending on actual progress
After each day’s work is completed, services will be gradually restored (typically around noon, subject to actual conditions)

Affected server/IP lists for each batch will be notified separately at least 48 hours in advance
Please refer to each individual notification for specific details and make necessary preparations
Kindly monitor your registered email or ticket system for updates

This upgrade is carried out using an online expansion approach to avoid service interruption. Completion Time: The expansion and data synchronization are expected to be fully completed before May 9.
Service Adjustment: During the maintenance period, new service provisioning and delivery at the Los Angeles node will be temporarily suspended.
