The earth is basically a massive reservoir or negatively charged electrons
Without a connection to this reservoir, the cells in our body are unable to balance the positive charge which results in things like electron-deficient free radicals
The effect of excess positive charge in the blood can be seen clearly by the way the cels are attracted to clump together. The second image is a study of grounding conducted by Dr Stephen Sinatra MD. the images on the left were before the individual was grounded. And the image on the right is what happens to the blood after 40 minutes of grounding. It shows dramatic thinning and decoupling of the blood cell.
