Búlandstindur is a 1069-meter-high basalt pyramid shaped mountain in Djúpivogur district. It towers high above the peninsula between Berufjordur and Hamarsfjordur, and is the highest mountain rising directly from the Icelandic coast.

The mountain is also known as God's Rock, or Godabord.
It got this name when locals supposedly threw their pagan items off the top of the mountain following Iceland's conversion to
Christianity in 1000 AD.
