πŸ‘ How to turn a smartphone into a webcam

A useful lifehack will allow you to turn your smartphone into a webcam for your computer and you do not need to buy a new one. This is in case the laptop's built-in webcam is weak, and there is an old and unnecessary Android smartphone nearby.

How to do it:

1. Download the DroidCam application and run it. A screen with basic information will appear and the camera will automatically activate: you will see the address of the webcam on the local network. IMPORTANT: both the computer and the phone must be connected to the same network.
2. Now download and install the DroidCam Client on the desktop from the official website.
3. Launch and enter the IP address displayed on the phone. If desired, select the "Audio" option to transmit not only video, but also audio. Click the "Start" button.

After connecting, an image from the phone's camera will appear on the computer. You can minimize this window and then open any program in which you need a webcam. If it doesn't work, go to settings and select DroidCam as the camera you are using.
