1. Past records: Regular/ Irregular, detailed information etc.

2. Authority: Qualification/ reputational/ experience/ author, editor/compiler, publisher etc.

3. Scope: subject, geometrical area, time span, forms of documents, target users etc.

4. Treatment: thoroughness, completeness, bias, reliability,style, illustration etc.

5. Arrangement: letter by letter, word by word etc.

6. Special features: directories of college and university/ regular, irregular/not updated etc.

7. Format: binding, paper quality, font, pages made up etc

8. Book review: magazine, newspaper etc

9. Limitations: cover all subject/ only for science students etc

10. Conclusion: point by point or in paragraphs/ detailed speciality etc.

1. Periodical: Scholarly journal, trade journal, popular & general interest periodical

2. Confrence proceedings: paper from confrences organaise by learned society or association

3. Patents: exclusive rights granted from government.
