아직 미 대선의 당선자가 확정되지 않았습니다. 하지만 FTX는 몇 일 안에 최종 당선자가 확정될 가능성이 있음을 인지하고 있습니다. 이 경우, $0으로 만기되는 계약상품의 보유자는 $0.10을 지불하여 정산을 내년 2월로 연기할 수 있습니다.
FTX는 일부 거래자들이 내년 2월에 정산되는 계약상품을 원하는 것을 알고 있습니다. 따라서 FTX는 2021년 2월 1일에 트럼프가 대통령일 경우 $1로 그렇지 않을 경우 $0으로 만기되는 신규 계약상품인 TRUMPFEB를 상장하였습니다. 정리하자면, 기존의 TRUMP 계약은 2021년 2월 전까지 당선자가 확정되지 않을 경우 2021년 2월에 만기될 수도 있습니다; 그러나 TRUMPFEB 계약은 2021년 2월까지 절대 만료되지 않습니다. 이는 TRUMPFEB 공매도 (숏) 포지션 보유 시, 2021년 2월까지 정산되지 않음을 의미합니다.
TRUMPFEB 계약은 만기 시점을 제외하고 기존의 TRUMP 계약과 동일한 매개변수를 가집니다.
