Day 1 Day 424

Someone explain me the yellow background avatar trend?

I'm quite extreme in my conviction but I think the world would be better without sales, ads, marketing

Only people actually making or doing stuff

Sure but that's appearances right, that's part of the product

You don't see animals putting up billboards?

↘️ Quoting Michael Gauckler (@MichaelGauckler)

@levelsio I like to look at nature in such cases to understand the natural need for advertising and…

🫀 People here said test for ApoB to know if your LDL value actually makes sense as @PeterAttiaMD talks about ApoB a lot, so I tested it and added to my biomarkers:

Deadlifting is the new going for beers

↘️ Quoting Andreas Klinger 🏝 (@andreasklinger)

I am going to Porto for the http://simconf.com

But I don't like networking events so instead @sitar & I organize a deadlifting class on May 4th.

Small group w/ coach.…

The reason coworking spaces never really took off is people quickly realized working from home is the most comfortable thing ever

↘️ Quoting Tiago (@wbetiago)

What is your ideal indie work setup?

Switching to Postmark I now never have complaints about emails not being delivered anymore

Everytime I open an image on X web mobile now and I close it it completely changes the scroll position of the timeline

The only reason Diavola pizza exists is because Italians are too nationalistic to just call it Pepperoni like everyone else

What if VR will just never be a thing?

Trying 8K resolution now

It takes 5 minutes to render one pic (normally like 1 minute)

Lot of good natural imperfections showing up now: skin damage, skin folds

U can load the original pic in 4K on X, tap it then press ... and then Load 4K

My secret hack from like 15+ years ago is

THE SELF ADHESIVE WHITEBOARD ROLL

It's like ~$0.50 per sheet and it is electrostatically charged so it literally sticks to any wall without glue

And you can draw it on it w/ a marker like any whiteboard

Don't…

😂 this "it's just a wrapper" is becoming a meme

↘️ Quoting Sean Lawton (@snlwtn)

@levelsio Thanks for the info, I just assumed it was a wrapper.

There's millions more people like this in South East Asia who steal like this every day

I met a girl in SEA once and her family was in parliament and all her houses (like big 10 floor condos) and land were donated to her family by big companies to pass laws…

I realized coming back to Europe from Brazil

How different the faces here look

People in Europe literally have pieces of meat growing in their face and they don't really care or do anything about it, even young people

In Brazil they're more pragmatic and…
