Payment problems in Argentina continued...

No food delivery app will accept any of our cards, not Revolut, not Wise, not even Brazilian cards

Weirdly the main delivery app of Argentina seems to only allow other LatAm countries to order (not even Brazil)…

Cash has other problems in Argentina though

US $10-$15 ATM withdrawal fee for US $100-150

That is on top of the bad USD-ARS rate (official rate) you'll get in most ATMs here, which is ~20%…

Uber Argentina (which is a different entity than Uber, with different payment requirements etc.) has responded it's a problem because @Revolut and @Wise ask for 2FA

So you can't use them on Uber in Argentina either

Luckily @cabify_arg DOES accept foreign…

Speechless what's happening in Europe

Every day almost a new rule, a new ban on something, I don't know how this will end well?

I used to be a big EU believer myself

Finally time to become an 🇺🇸 American?

I'd move to Austin, TX but it's too hot 🥵

↘️…

Why can't we let the EU just track all the money?

I know the answer (freedom etc) but X probably can explain it better…

"Why don't you Europeans do something about this?"

And we talked in the group chat about this

Realizing most Europeans don't really care/know about European elections and a lot of us don't even vote for it

EU electon turnout in 2019…

So the EU problem is kinda funny:

- Europeans do not want to see the European Union as their federal government (like the US is for Americans) because they're still too nationalistic about their own countries

- But the European Union is already acting as…
