Levitating food transport! π₯
Food handling with magnetic levitation.
Beckhoff Automationβs XPlanar system is powering a new Free Movement System (FMS) from Provisur Technologies that reimagines how food products are moved in processing plants.
Instead of belts or rollers, XPlanar uses magnetically levitating movers that glide over easy-to-clean surfaces.
Each mover is individually controlled, enabling flexible routing, grouping, and spacing of food items without mechanical constraints.
For food processors, this means higher hygiene, fewer maintenance needs, and more adaptable production lines.
No belts, no friction, no contamination!
P.S. Super curious if this one will fly, and how good it scales.
