The loquat, a characteristic fruit of the town of Coayllo in the province of Cañete, Peru, gave rise to the celebration of a festival that bears its name and, as part of one of its activities, a contest with high doses of 'adrenaline' called Tobogán Macho.

At first the contestants just jump down and let themselves be carried away by the inertia and momentum until almost halfway, then they stop and start running.
